Lifelong dog owner with decades of experience caring for dogs both big and small. I work from home and am able to provide constant care and plenty of exercise. Boarders or daycare get at least 3 walks/day, dozens of photos, and lots of love of course! I provide toys, bowls, a dog bed, treats, poop bags and a backup leash. A tired dog is a good dog :) feel free to bring your pet’s crate if you’d like! I grew up with border collies and labs, then rescued my own dogs in adulthood. One of my rescues was a very sick 3-month old puppy that I raised, so I am well-versed with puppy care. I do not currently have pets living in the home, so your dogs will have the run of the place! I own my own home on a quiet circle street. My yard is an expansive quarter acre of grass with access to miles of mowed walking paths off my backyard. When a visit starts, I like to take the dogs on a “Welcome Walk” to get acquainted in neutral outdoor space. I prioritize safety and clear communication (with owners and dogs!) to create a comfortable experience for all. I look forward to taking care of your wonderful pets!

Sophia was excellent!! Starting with the meet and greet, she was an absolute pleasure to work with! She sent detailed and regular updates, including letting us know about anything out of the ordinary. She administered medications as needed and was very understanding of my dog’s anxiety. I can tell my dog was very happy, loved, and well cared for while I was away! I would absolutely use Sophia’s services again!
Sophia was fantastic! She sent great updates throughout the visit along with lots of pictures, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. Ozzy looked happy and well cared for, and I really appreciated the detailed Rover card and communication. She was reliable, professional, and clearly cares about the dogs she works with. Sophia took excellent care of my kitties! She came as scheduled, fed, and loved on them. Her communication was great and her Rover cards were a highlight of my daughter’s day. I very rarely need a pet sitter, but would not hesitate to ask Sophia again. Thank you!
Sophia was amazing! She was incredibly accommodating on very short notice and made the entire experience stress-free. Her communication was excellent, not only through messages but also through the many photos and updates she sent throughout our trip. We were so sad we couldn’t bring Ash with us, but honestly, I think she had a better time with Sophia!😅 Knowing she was safe, happy, and so well cared for gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. We will absolutely be reaching out to Sophia again and recommending her to everyone we know. Schedule
I work from home, so I am flexible for drop-ins, last-minute needs, or regular walks, and can give your dog consistent companionship…and some fun of course! Rain or shine, I am happy to take them out.

I provide a treats (if allowed), a dog bed, bowls, toys and backup leash (but I prefer you bring the leash your dog is familiar with!). Please feel free to bring a crate if you’d like to crate your dog! When a visit starts, I like to take the dogs on “Welcome Walk” where we get acquainted in the great outdoors. This allows me to build our bond in neutral space with plenty of positive stimulation for the dogs. I prioritize safety and clear communication (with owners and dogs!) to create a comfortable experience for all. I have used the clicker training method in the past, and do not believe in any form of domineering or physical correction. Your dog will have a stable experience here!
A typical day
Multiple walks a day either around my neighborhood or a neighboring large field that has a miles of walking paths. Lots of play and tons of cuddles.
