From the time I was little, I've loved spending time with animals. I've been raised around dogs my entire life -- my mom volunteered for an animal shelter and we were often fostering and adopting strays. I started doing Rover because I missed having pets of my own since living in animal-free places for the last several years. I love spending time out doors and don't mind providing longer walks or going to a dog park for some fetch for high energy dogs. I have experience with dogs up to 130 pounds and love them all, big and small. I’m also definitely a cat person - I love cuddles but also respect shy cats or those who take longer to warm up.

Ratings and reviews
Sophia took good care of my pets and sent regular updates and communication which I appreciated. The only issues were that on the first day she did arrive at 1 am which worried me a little considering my pets had not eaten. Sophia did tell me she was sick and did not clean to her usual standard but it was disappointing coming home to a sink full of dirty dishes. Based on other reviews it seems this was just an exception and I do think she is great with pets, just wish we’d had a slightly different experience.

We had a unique situation for dog sitting in a hotel room. Sophie was great! Arrived early, did great with my very anxious dog, excellent communication. If I ever need a Seattle dog sitter again I'll definitely check with her first. Thanks so much!

Schedule
I work in office from 9-5 Wednesday & Thursday, so I am typically not able to be home with your pet during those days. Monday, Tuesday, and Friday I work remotely.
