Hi! My name is Sophia. I started pet sitting for family and neighbors when I was young, and have been doing it since! As a pet owner myself(I own cats at the moment!), I know how stressful it can be to find the purrfect care placement for your furry friends, especially if they need more attention or have special requirements. I'm here to give you the peace-of-mind of your fur-baby being properly looked after if you've got a last minute travel destination or an extra long shift at work. I've done volunteer work with both cats and dogs at animal shelters and clinics as well as taken animal management and animal science courses where I learned pet first aid, basic grooming, proper medicine administration, and handling of domestic pets. I work full time at a veterinary clinic and have over 5 years of experience in veterinary nursing. I have experience with pets that require special accomodations, such as puppies and older dogs/cats/rabbits,etc., as well as sick and injured pets that require medications and close monitoring. I'll work closely with the you, the pet parent, to ensure your furry friend will be taken care of just the way you want it. I look forward to meeting your pet! I care for each and every pet as if they were my own and keep owners in the loop with 2-3 updates with pictures daily. I live in an in-law suite apartment with my 3 cats with an 8 acre farm for a backyard on a quiet road. As long as your pup Can cohabitate with cats, they are welcome on the farm! If you prefer me staying at your home I will happily snuggle with your fur-babies or uphold their daily routine if they are crated or in training. So long as pets are up to date on vaccinations, I can bring them to work with me if they need medications or extra potty breaks throughout the day. I Can ensure your pets will always be in s clean and healthy environment under my care.

Sophia was amazing! She provided updates morning and night and plenty of pictures of our cat Loki. I can tell Loki had a great time. Not once did I have a worry while being away! Highly recommend and will be reaching out to her again for any future assistance!
Sophia more than exceeded our hopes for this trip and how our sweet cat Angel would do while we were gone. Sophia promptly sent detailed messages with updates on her activities and pictures of our cat both morning and evening. She was responsive and so kind and you could tell she just treated Angel as her own cat. Will definitely specifically reach out for Sophia again next time we need someone to care for Angel.
Sophia was fantastic! She took such good care of our two dogs while we were away. Our one dog in particular can be a bit challenging at times, and Sophia really went above and beyond to make sure that both us and our dog felt comfortable before going away. She also sent lots of updates while we were gone which was always appreciated. Would highly recommend her - we will definitely be using her again in the future!
Sophia is amazing and our dog loves to spend time with her! Makes having to travel without her so much easier knowing she is so well taken care of.

Schedule
With my my experience, knowledge and my place of work I’m able to provide close monitoring/care of your pet (if needed)! As long as I am provided proof of vaccination, I am able to bring them to work if it’s a special needs pet that requires medication, monitoring or frequent potty breaks.
