I currently work part-time, with full autonomy of my schedule. I'm able to care for your fur baby whenever you need. Let me know how I can help you! My services: Drop-ins - great for cat care or dogs with yards who need let out into the yard Walks- perfect for you and your dog! Let me get some of their energy out before you return home after a long day at work! If you need your dog fed during this, understand walks will only be 15 minutes maximum. If you're looking for the full 30 minutes of walking as well as feeding, I'd recommend booking a full 60 minute appointment to ensure the absolute best care for your fur baby! House sitting- I come to your home and care for your pets for at least one night overnight. Please inquire to work out the details! Grooming: Basic grooming offered after initial visit. Baths, nails and any additional care will be an extra charge. You must supply all needed supplies. This can be added to house sitting bookings. One hour minimum walk or drop in appointment must be booked for grooming services.

I have dog and cat sat pets of friends, family, neighbors and even new clients. I've cared for dogs on medications from pills to insulin. I have experience with many different play & feed routines as well as various structures that owners have for their pups. I understand the stress of leaving a pup at a facility so I value the importance of having someone you trust caring for your fur baby in their own home. I'm also fluent in curbing unwanted behaviors- if there is something I can do to continue the training you're diligently teaching your dog, let me know! I'd love to help continue that when the pup is in my care.

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs, feedings or behaviors I need to be aware of to best care for your pup. I have experience with puppies being crate trained for the first time all the way to senior pups who need assistance on stairs. I also am good with medication administration even when the dog can be sneaky with avoiding taking pills.

I understand the stimulation dogs need to express their seemingly endless amounts of energy. Walks are a great way to express energy by allowing the dog to exercise and use their noses to smell all the new scents. I love using toys like a ball or ring to play chase/tug. I also like to use toys that demand a dog to use it's brain to access treats or kibble like puzzles.

I've cared for dogs since I was young, my grandmother taught me grooming skills on her Poodles & Bichons and we had a Maltese rescue. (See my photos :) ) I was also a manager of a dog boarding facility in Indiana, so I've seen a lot! Now I can come to you and meet your pups needs at home. I was responsible for administration of medications (oral, topical and injections), handling injuries and runs to the vets office (owners preferred vet). I can handle just about anything from large power-house pups down to the little sassy woofs! Outside of dogs and cats, I have provided expensive other animal care including but not limited to horses, chickens, goats, rabbits, fish and reptiles. *I do have experience with basic grooming, baths and nails. These would be additional rates available by request only. Minimum 60 minute booking required.*

Sophia is extremely knowledgeable, I am very happy I found her and I know my babies will be so well cared for every time she comes to do her visits.
Sophia is so great with Beau! She’s so thoughtful about taking him on short, shaded walks on hot days so he doesn’t overheat but still gets his business done. He’s always so happy to see her!!!
Sophia was so great with our Beau. She followed our instructions to a T, sent us updates on him a few times a day, and even let him convince her to take him on more walks than he usually gets 😂 it was so great to be on vacation and not have to worry that Beau was being taken care of with the same amount of love that we would. Beau loves her and so do we! I couldn’t recommend her enough!!!
Sophia was very responsive and a good communicator. Her flexibility was much appreciated and took great care of our dog!
