I always try to ensure the pet feels comfortable with me in their space, I usually like to meet them with their owner first, and building a connection with both owner and pet is a priority to me. Aside from the basics of ensuring they get adequate amounts of time outside either through a fenced yard or on a walk, having water available at all times, sticking to a feeding schedule, I also try to ensure owners are in-touch and informed while away from their pet - I enjoy sending updates and photos to owners so they can see what their pet is up to.

Sophia was absolutely wonderful with our four pets! Chester, George, and Gus are senior dogs, and Stella is a special-needs cat, so leaving them in someone else’s care can be stressful for us. Sophia immediately put our minds at ease with how caring, attentive, and patient she was with each of them. She went above and beyond, especially with Gus, who can be quite nervous. Sophia took the extra time to help him feel comfortable and less scared while we were away, and it meant so much to us knowing he was getting that extra patience and reassurance. All four of our pets were clearly well cared for and loved while we were gone. We came home feeling confident that they had been in wonderful hands. We would absolutely recommend Sophia and will definitely have her care for our fur family again! ❤️🐾
I felt very comfortable having Sophia watch my 2 dogs over the weekend - she sent updates and photos, she was a reliable communicator, and my fur babies had the best time with her🐾. They will miss her snuggles and generosity with treats

Schedule
I currently work full time Monday-Friday at a veterinary hospital, but daily at-home visits, walks, or weekend stays are feasible for me. I’m available Fridays after 3pm until Monday mornings. Daily at-home visits and/or walks can be tailored to specific needs for each pet
