I’ve been an animal-lover since elementary school. I’ve had cats since birth, but at age 8 I saved my money up for a year to buy my own cat and I’ve been taking care of animals ever since. I have experience taking care of cats and dogs of all ages, as well as birds, reptiles, rodents, and aquariums (freshwater, saltwater, and reef.) I even have experience caring for wild animals in a rehabilitation setting, so administering medication or accommodating special needs is no problem! I love finding ways to provide enrichment in your pet’s life. I understand that every animal is different, so I’m happy to get to know your pet’s individual needs and provide plenty of love and patience!

I would love to spend some time talking with you to understand your pet’s individual needs so that I can provide the best care necessary! I am very patient and caring, so challenging animals are not a problem. If your pet has any special needs I am happy to learn more about what I can do to accommodate for that! I have experience caring for animals in a rehabilitation setting so administering medications or making accommodations for animals is something I’m experienced with!

Sophia was a wonderful sitter, communicative and flexible and caring even amidst a blizzard. We’re grateful for all that she managed on behalf of our pet and home and would highly recommend her!
I think this was the longest we’ve been away from our two dogs and Sophia was great as usual and helped make our vacation stress-free! We returned to two happy pups and our apartment just as we left it.

Sophia was great!! Very friendly, reliable, and easy to communicate with. I was able to trust that my pet would be well taken care of while I was away, and would certainly ask her to watch my cat again. She followed instructions and let me know how my cat was doing so I never had to worry. For my first time using Rover, I’m so glad Sophia was my cat-sitter!

Schedule
I’m currently attending graduate school and I work as a nanny, so I’m looking for flexible hours doing things I love! I am available for drop in visits or overnight stays. In a typical week, from Tuesday-Thursday I will be gone up to 8 hours in class/at work, so I would be unable to provide frequent potty breaks on those days! Friday-Monday I typically have more flexible/open availability! I’m happy to work with you and be flexible depending on your needs!
