Like most dog lovers, I've had dogs my whole life. In college, I started volunteering at a large humane society where I learned how to walk and care for dogs of all temperaments, ages, and sizes. My own adopted dogs have ranged from effortless angel to extremely anxious with abuse histories and earning the love and trust of each of them is a joy that drives me every day. I am also happy to care for cats, though my experience there is limited to caring for family pets! My schedule is extremely flexible. I am generally available on short notice and happy to work with others who have unpredictable schedules or unexpected emergencies. For housesitting, I prefer to go home to my own dog at night and thus usually don't accept sleep-over housesitting bookings that are over two nights long, though I may make occasional exceptions. The wellbeing of every pet is my first priority. From my personal and volunteer experience, I understand that our pets can be incredibly different in their needs and preferences. I consider anxious, reactive, and rescue dogs to be my specialty! I'm happy to discuss your pet’s needs in-depth and will do my best to ensure the highest standard of care.
