Humane Society Trained Dog Lover!
Like most dog lovers, I've had dogs my whole life. In college, I started volunteering at a large humane society where I learned how to walk and care for dogs of all temperaments, ages, and sizes. My own adopted dogs have ranged from effortless angel to extremely anxious with abuse histories and earning the love and trust of each of them is a joy that drives me every day. I am also happy to care for cats, though my experience there is limited to caring for family pets! My schedule is extremely flexible. I am generally available on short notice and happy to work with others who have unpredictable schedules or unexpected emergencies. For housesitting, I prefer to go home to my own dog at night and thus usually don't accept sleep-over housesitting bookings that are over two nights long, though I may make occasional exceptions. The wellbeing of every pet is my first priority. From my personal and volunteer experience, I understand that our pets can be incredibly different in their needs and preferences. I consider anxious, reactive, and rescue dogs to be my specialty! I'm happy to discuss your pet’s needs in-depth and will do my best to ensure the highest standard of care. If you're unsure, message me about a meet and greet! Meet and greets are a wonderful opportunity for me to introduce myself to your dog and discuss their care with you.

Sophia is the absolute best, I could not recommend her more. This is the second booking she’s looked after our puppy Poppy and she’s been fabulous every time. Poppy was spayed 3 days ago, and Sophia got her to take all her pills (no small feat as our girl is very squirmy) and is incredibly patient, caring, and attentive. We are so thrilled to know Sophia and she is our go-to for puppy care.
Sophia is amazing! Her updates were so thorough and she was so kind and thoughtful with my big baby girl. She’s great with sensitive dogs and I’d recommend her to my closest friends and really everyone.

Sophia was amazing to work with. From the very first message, I could tell she read through our profile and came with questions to ask. She followed everything we asked to a T and was incredibly flexible to add a schedule day when I had a last minute schedule change. She left such detailed Rover cards and handled everything seamlessly. We’ll definite be booking with her again!
Sophia was amazing and did a great job taking care of our two senior pitties and our cats! She took the time to send us detailed updates and really got to know everyone's individual personalities. We felt very comfortable knowing our babies were in good care!
