I’ve been surrounded by animals for as long as I can remember, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. Friends, neighbors, and family have trusted me time and time again to look after their pets (and even their plants), and it’s something I genuinely enjoy. I share my home with my sweet lab mix, Congo, and my newly adopted cat, Mayo, who bring so much joy into my life. I’ve also spent years house‑sitting and pet‑sitting, and my time working in the local restaurant industry has taught me to be dependable, patient, and attentive. I treat every pet with the same love and comfort I give my own!

I follow safe walking practices with secure leash handling and close awareness of my surroundings. I also stick to your dog’s usual training and routine to keep them comfortable.

Sophia did a wonderful job with my two boys, Wilfred and Frenzy. I was out of town for two weeks and Sophia was great about keeping up to date and following my instructions regarding their special care as well as exceeding my expectations while house sitting. I'd be happy to hire her again to work with my two pups in the future!
Pet sitting started strong and I was happy with communication. Last day we had agreed dogs would be let out at 9pm because our flight landed at almost midnight and we had an hour drive home. Sophie left around 4pm and never returned to let them out again causing pets to be left up for almost 10 hours. They both got sick and watching the camera footage of them howling and crying broke my heart. I did finally hear back from Sophie later the next day on why she didn’t come back. She knows she should have let me know she wasn’t returning as agreed so I had the opportunity to at least get a neighbor to let them out. Needless to say we will not rebook Sophie for our pets.
Sophia. Was wonderful, our patches was happy upon our return, no stress. Sophia sent pictures and kept us updated. Our home was kept clean and I would highly recommend Sophia to care for your pet. It was so nice to return home with out worrying about our patches.
Sophia is consistently responsible, attentive, and genuinely caring with animals. She takes the time to understand each pet’s individual needs and makes sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. She also communicates clearly, is dependable with scheduling, and treats every pet as if they were her own. Sophia is especially great at building trust with shy or anxious pets, and she has a calm, patient presence that animals respond well to. Whether it’s feeding schedules, walks, playtime, or just providing companionship, Sophia handles everything with care and reliability. She also keeps owners well-informed with thoughtful updates, which provides real peace of mind.
Sophia is wonderful! She’s diligent, good with instructions, and always goes above and beyond. My family and I travel often and for long periods of time. When we do, Sophia takes wonderful care of the house and our lovely lab; who absolutely adores her.
