I’m Sophia, a lifelong animal person with a farming background and a sixth sense for critter energy. I grew up surrounded by cattle, I've worked with horses, and I've raised a range of pets of different sizes, energy levels, and temperaments. All of this has given me a deep understanding of animal body language and a real respect for what makes them tick. I connect especially well with cats and dogs, and I’m known for my calm, grounded energy that helps even the most nervous pets feel chill. Whether your pup needs playtime, your kitty needs company, or you just want to make sure your pets are safe and happy while you're away, I’ve got it covered. I let animals set the pace. With a strong read on body language and temperament, I adjust my energy and approach to match what they need—not the other way around. Sometimes that means playtime and walks, and sometimes it means just being quietly nearby so they can relax without feeling overstimulated. Whether they’re social butterflies or shy little wallflowers, I’m here to make sure they feel at ease.

We had an awesome experience with Sophia! She provided regular updates and sent pictures of the dogs while we were away. Both dogs were very well taken care of and happy. She didn’t bat an eye at giving eye drops to our older guy either. We’d happily use her again, couldn’t have asked for a better human to take care of our favourite animals.
Once again, Sophia did an excellent job! I have no worries when my cat is being looked after by Sophia! She is extremely dependable and always replies to your queries in a fashionable time and manner. I would definitely recommend Sophia to look after your fur baby!

Schedule
I'm self-employed and a homebody, which means my schedule is super flexible and I'm available to give extra care throughout the week. That gives me tons of time for long morning walks, mid-day play breaks, and slow, snuggly evenings with your pets. They’re not just getting fed and walked—they’re getting real presence, companionship, and care throughout the day.

- I get that pets can feel a little off when their humans are away—totally normal. That’s why I’m all about routines and clear instructions. Tell me everything: feeding times, favorite toys, weird quirks—I want the full download. From there, I’ll stick to your normal routine and stay tuned in to what your pet is telling me. Some days they might need extra playtime, some days just a calm presence and a cozy snuggle. I’ll follow their lead and keep things as stress-free as possible.
