Hello! I’m Sophia, and I am currently a student at Concordia College studying Voice Performance and German! Outside of music I have a passion for plants and pets! Over the years I have taken care of the animals of my community as well as some of my own. Species include cats, dogs, birds, fish, guinea pigs, gerbils, domesticated rats, and even small children 😂. Additionally I am a seasoned houseplant parent with employment experience at a local garden center. On top of pet care I am happy to water, fertilize, diagnose, and pest treat your plants for a flexible fee! As a pet/plant sitter I am reliable, organized, punctual, communicative and adaptable. Together let’s keep your flora and fauna happy and healthy!

Safety, trust & environment
I do not offer boarding for cats and dogs, but for small animals such as birds and rodents they have a home away from home with me! I live in a house with plenty of space for a habitat and can adjust lighting, temperature and ambient volume to your pet’s needs!

Kind, responsible, and super friendly!! Very good with dogs. My 9-year-old chihuahua-maltese loves her so much and has for many years. She can be both calm and/or playful with pets. She isn't afraid to get her hands dirty with pets either, due to past experiences responsibly and lovingly owning guinea pigs.
Sophia took in my Budgie a couple times when I vacationed for about a week. Pineapple my bird loved her company and would always send me updates and pictures of him. Would definitely call her up if needed again!
She did a great job with my pets! I was gone for about a week and got plenty of updates from her on how they were doing and pictures! Definitely recommend
Sophia was an absolute gem to my puppies. She took great care of my two large dogs and sent updates after every visit. I highly recommend her services!💕 She also helped rehabilitate one of my dying house plants.

I still remember a story she shared with me a few years ago about caring for a neighbor’s bird—she clearly takes the responsibility of caring for animals seriously and with great affection. Schedule
As a student and part-time garden center employee my schedule varies quite a bit. Generally my Tuesday and Thursday mornings are free as well as weekends. I’m a great communicator and happy to find a time that works for you!
