Hi, I’m Sophia! I’ve basically grown up with dogs. We got our first dog when I was four years old, so having a dog around has always been completely normal for me. We still have a family dog who lives with my parents, and since I moved out, I definitely miss having a dog around. I’ve always loved spending time with animals and would be really happy to take care of yours whenever you need some help. Whether it’s going for a long walk, playing, cuddling or just keeping them company, I’m happy to adapt to whatever your dog is used to. Most importantly, I want them to feel comfortable and have a good time while they’re with me. 😊

I was really happy with the care my dog received. Sophia took such great care of him and was incredibly loving, reliable, and attentive throughout his stay. He can definitely be a little challenging at times and has quite a few quirks, so he needs someone who is patient but also confident and consistent. She handled him really well and was always calm and caring with him. ☺️ I felt completely comfortable leaving him in her care and was kept updated throughout. He clearly felt very comfortable with her and came home happy and relaxed. I would absolutely trust Sophia with him again and can highly recommend her!
Sophia looked after my dog for a week while we were on holiday and she stayed with her at her home. Everything went really well and we felt comfortable leaving her with Sophia. She took her on regular walks, played with her and made sure she got plenty of attention. We also received photos and little updates throughout the week, which was really nice. Our dog seemed very comfortable with her and we would definitely leave her with Sophia again. 😊

Schedule
I work full-time during the week, but I’m usually available in the mornings and evenings and I’m more flexible on weekends. Depending on the day, I can also make daytime visits work. Just let me know what you need and we can see what works best.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a quiet area and only about a 5-minute walk from the forest, so there are lots of nice places nearby for walks, whether your dog prefers a quick walk or likes being outside for a bit longer. I also really enjoy going for walks myself, so I’m always happy to have some company. :) If your pet stays with me, I want them to feel as comfortable and at home as possible. I’m happy to stick to their normal routine, including their usual walking and feeding times, and of course you can let me know about any little habits or things they particularly like or don’t like. I’m also happy to come to your home if your pet feels more comfortable in their own environment. I know it can feel a little strange leaving your pet with someone new, so I’m always happy to meet beforehand and get to know both you and your pet first. And of course, I can send you little updates and photos while you’re away so you know how they’re doing. 😊
