Availability
As a full‑time student with all classes online, my schedule is extremely flexible and allows me to prioritize pet care. Currently, my spouse and I are sharing a car, which means I’m unavailable on weekdays from 1–7 PM. Outside of those hours, I’m happy to accommodate morning, evening, and weekend visits. This arrangement is temporary — once my car is repaired, my availability will expand even further. I’ll always communicate clearly and confirm bookings promptly so you can feel confident your pets’ routines are supported without interruption.

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I bring the same attentiveness I honed as a former nanny and lifelong animal caregiver to every visit. Whether it’s securing doors and gates, keeping a close eye during play, or ensuring medications are given properly, I take every precaution to protect your pets and your home. I believe trust is built through consistency and respect. I follow your instructions carefully, provide regular updates, and treat your space with the same care I give my own. To give you complete peace of mind, I practice a “triple‑check” approach — reviewing every detail to be absolutely sure all is as it should be. Looking ahead, I would love to expand my services to include boarding and in‑home pet care. My home features a large fenced‑in yard for safe outdoor play and a guest room perfect for pets who may prefer more privacy. Because I have my own pets, their safety and comfort will always remain paramount — so it will be essential to ensure that all animals mesh well before welcoming them into the space. Every animal deserves an environment where they feel secure and understood. My goal is to create a safe, stress‑free experience tailored to each pet’s personality, so you can feel confident they’re in good hands.
Information Sophia I. would like to know about your pet
The most important thing for me to know ahead of time is your pet’s temperament and any medical needs. You, as the pet parent, know them best — and I truly believe it’s impossible to share too much information. I want to be sure your pets are cared for exactly the way you want and to the level they deserve. Please let me know about any fears, quirks, or favorite things so I can tailor my care to their unique personalities. Whether it’s a special routine, a comfort item, or a detail about how they like to be approached, I’ll use that knowledge to make their experience safe, comfortable, and joyful.
A typical day
As a pet parent to a working breed, I know how important active engagement is. Our mornings start with breakfast, followed by a quick bathroom break and light playtime — nothing too intense right after eating. Once inside, we focus on training combinations or mental stimulation activities like hide‑and‑seek, a lick mat, or puzzle toys. After that, it’s time for rest or free play with favorite stuffies, chews, or simply cuddles and belly rubs. Later in the day, we ramp up the activity again with a run, tug‑of‑war, and another bathroom break. I’m very hands‑on and love engaging with pets according to their individual preferences, whether that means high‑energy play or quiet companionship. For cats, mornings are for breakfast, birdwatching, and litter time. Afternoons might bring pets and cuddles, or active play with wiggle strings and toy soccer. Depending on their mood, I also fit in brushing sessions — as much as they’ll allow before deciding they’ve had enough. No matter the species, I strive to create a balanced day of care, enrichment, and affection tailored to each pet’s personality.

Reliable Pet Care You Can Trust
Pet care experience
I grew up on a hobby farm surrounded by animals of all kinds — chickens, ducks, peacocks, pheasants, quail, falcons, rabbits, and even hedgehogs. That upbringing gave me a deep respect for the unique personalities and needs of every creature. Beyond farm life, I’ve raised a litter of puppies and have hands‑on experience with housebreaking and basic training. I’m also something of a magician when it comes to administering pills, making sure pets get the care they need without stress. In addition to animal care, I’m a former nanny, which taught me patience, attentiveness, and the importance of tailoring care to each individual — skills I bring to every pet I look after. Today, I’m a proud pet parent to Piper (4‑year‑old border collie), Kith (2‑year‑old tabby cat), and Tinky Winky (1‑year‑old tortoiseshell cat). I love long walks, fetch, and tug‑of‑war, and I always come prepared — yes, with my own poop bags! No matter the species or temperament, I strive to tailor my care to each animal’s personality, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and loved.

Reviews

Sophia was grand. She communicated perfectly. Did per trip updates wirh photos. My Houston was happy and alert when I got home. I will definitely use her again.
Sophia is fantastic with cats, dogs, and bunnies! She’s cared for my family’s pets many times, and we always feel completely at ease knowing they’re with her. She’s gentle, patient, and truly understands different animal personalities, especially cats!! Mine warmed up to her instantly, and it’s clear they always feel safe and loved in her care. Sophia is dependable, keeps everything spotless, and consistently goes above and beyond to make sure every pet is comfortable, happy, and well cared for.
Sophia is wonderful with animals! If you want someone who listens to you and cares about your four legged family members, I couldn’t recommend her enough
