I am currently a graduate student who has class on Thursday but is otherwise fairly flexible! I have a break in my classes on Thursday so (as my availability notes) so I can still do an afternoon walk but it’s a day I will be away for an extended period of time. I prioritize my pets above all else to ensure they get plenty of love throughout the day! If I ever think my schedule is an issue for the amount of time your pet will spend alone I’ll be sure to communicate it.

I am fairly flexible but want to ensure your pet is getting the absolute best care (as I know you do as well) so please let me know any activities that they love, things to avoid, and general unique traits I should be mindful of! I know every pet has their own unique personality and I want to accommodate that accordingly.
A typical day
I love going for long walks myself and always welcome the company of a four legged friend! Additionally, I enjoy a good game of fetch, or even just sitting outside while the dog gets some needed run around time.

Pet care experience
I have been around animals nearly my whole life. Having grown up in a pet friendly family, I learned from an early age the responsibility it takes to care for another creature. From there, my very first job was walking neighbors dogs as it was something that combined two things that bring me joy, dogs and walking outside! I have since served as a pet sitter for dog and cat households in numerous cities and home set ups. I am adaptable, compassionate for your space and your pets, and know how special it is to find someone you trust to watch over such important family members.

Sophia is the perfect sitter! My Katie is dog reactive and she had no problem accommodating this. Sophia is very organized, prompt and responsive. She maintained an open and clear channel of communication from initial request to the end of Katie’s stay.

Sophia was awesome with our dog! She communicated with us daily, sent us lots of pics, and was very patient with our sometimes stubborn pup. It was clear she is passionate about caring for dogs and making them comfortable when they are in her home. Would board again with her in a heartbeat!
Sophia was outstanding caring for our 15 year-old golden retriever. She is incredibly responsible, she does exactly what she says she's going to do and she asks excellent questions to find out what the best way to care for your pet is going to be. I really felt like Maggie was in excellent hands with her. She was very responsive to any texts I sent, and she sent her own as well with pictures of how Maggie was doing. my request for Care was very last minute and Sophia was incredible the way she immediately got in touch, came out to meet Maggie, asked excellent questions, and everything just fell into place so easily. I felt so confident in my time away and I would definitely use Sophia again!
