Aside from growing up with two dogs throughout their puppy and elderly stages of life, I have lots of experience with animals that are not my own. I have a passion for caring for animals of all kinds—to the point where I consider the squirrels that come to my college dorm window my friends! I love helping out the pet owners in my community and often volunteer to watch dogs for free, just because I enjoy it. I have lots of experience with dogs that have special needs (i.e. injuries or medicine), and I take the responsibility of pet care seriously. I approach all animals with the same love and care as if they were my own, and i understand uniquely how worried we can get about our pets when we’re away. Part of my petsitting M.O. is frequent updates (especially photos) to give owners peace of mind. I have a special place in my heart for dogs, but am a lover of all animals and have experience with cats and bunnies as well. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friends!

I approach all pets with gentleness and respect, and i make sure to provide ample time for them to get used to my presence before interactions. I follow instructions thoroughly, so detail there is always appreciated, and I like to be in consistent contact with owners in case there are questions, concerns, or updates. I understand strangers can be nerve wracking for pets and their parents, so I do my very best to earn trust and be patient!

Sophia is an awesome pet sitter! I have a very high energy, high drive working dog, and Sophia did a lovely job caring for her, keeping my dog happy, enriched, and safe. My dog also gets quite a robust regimen of supplements and medications, all which were administered with care. I highly recommend Sophia and will absolutely call her again the next time I need a sitter.
Sophia is like a dog whisperer. Every dog she encounters, she sees as a unique soul and an immediate friend. I've never seen a dog caregiver so patient with administering medicines, helping them walk with arthritis, being patient with puppy craziness, and more. She points out every dog she sees, and her gentle spirit seems to connect her to them immediately. She has helped raise two dogs in her family from puppyhood and beyond, and she has been a trusted pet sitter for others. She also has experience caring for cats and bunnies! She is an incredibly responsible caregiver (and straight-A college student) who follows each family's instructions to the letter and always goes above and beyond. She is wise beyond her years, and she maintains fantastic contact with the pet families she works for, providing regular updates and photos. She sees dogs as a gift to her life and the world in general, and it truly shows. Any doggie would be so lucky to have Sophia caring for them!
Sophia is one of the few people we trust to stay with our dog! Our Lily is a senior with arthritis and has regular meds and even a sling to help her walk sometimes. Sophia is so careful about ensuring our sweet girl has all the special attention she needs! We adore Sophia and trust her to take impeccable care of both our home and our dog!

Schedule
I am a college junior currently at home for summer break. I will be taking two vacations in the next few months, but other than that my schedule allows for extremely open and flexible hours!
