Hi! My name is Sophia, I'm a Umass college student available to take on new clients! While on break (currently), I'm available in the Wellesley area. During the academic calendar, I'm available in the Amherst area. I have been caring for pets since I was a young girl and have always been a passionate animal lover. I've had three dogs and a cat with over 14 years of personal experience caring, loving, and training them. I can assure I will give your dog(s) the same love I've had for my own. I have significant experience taking care of pets for friends, family, neighbors, and clients. In my free time I volunteer and foster at local shelters. I'm very flexible and offer drop-in visits, dog walking, doggy daycare, and boarding.

Sophia, 20, is a student at Tulane University. She is bright, easy to get along with, frienly and pleasant. She had a dog for many years when she was younger. Sophia watched my dog Blair and my cats Johnny and Bean for two weeks in May of 2019. She was amazing and made sure to follow my instructions. She even took Blair on her favorite trail. Sophia kept me updated the entire time with photos and I can not recommend her enough as a pet sitter. She also made sure to water my plants while she stayed at my home.
I've know Sophia since early childhood. She has always loved animals and has personal qualities of kindness and respect for all living things that should make her a great caretaker of animals. For many years she had a boxer whom she loved greatly and the two were inseparable. She raised the dog to be a loving, responsive, obedient animal whom everyone loved. Safety, trust & environment
My safety procedure will be the same for animals of all kinds. The safety, health and wellbeing are the MOST important things to me. I will certainly treat your dog and home with the same respect and safety measures as I would my own pets and home. If any extra safety precautions are needed, depending on your preference, I'm very flexible and will do all I can to ensure the safety and protection while caring for any and all pooches.
A typical day
Trips to the dog park, lakes or dog pools if they have a interest in swimming (lifeguard certified), hikes, walks around town, supervising playdates or zoomy time in a fenced in yard, trips to starbucks for PupCups, and lots and lots of fetch and snuggle time if they so choose.
