Hello! My name is Sophia. I have a AA in Teaching and a BS in Special Education with a minor in Psychology, as well as a Masters in Social Work. I currently work as a school based therapist. I worked at Park Hill School District for 7 years and worked for the state of MO in St. Joe for 2 years. I grew up on a farm with dogs and other animals with my family. I learned animal husbandry starting as a toddler. I used to do 4-H when I was younger where I showed dogs in agility and obedience as well as horses. I’ve shown dogs in AKC shows as well. I have three kitties named Hazel, Taco, Tuesday, and a golden retriever named Eleanor Rigby (Ellie), a poodle, Figgis, and a doodle pup, Olive. In my free time I enjoy playing with my animals(horses, dogs, and cats), watching Netflix, spending time with my husband, going to concerts, and working out! Our household is always bustling and your puppers will have plenty of play time with our three dogs (and the cats too!).

This was our first time using Rover to board our energetic Golden while out of town and I was nervous, but we picked the right person. She was great, she sent us pics, videos, and updates. I can tell Archie had so much fun playing with her dogs and running around in her yard.
Sophia was very welcoming! Our pup had a good stay.
Great communication! Leaving our pup with someone new is scary but Sophia made us feel comfortable over the extended weekend.

She took wonderful care of our dog. Peachy was a little anxious and she handled it very well. Very responsive anytime I asked for an update and sent pictures of peachy after she got settled in. Will definitely book again if I need these services again.

Harmonogram
My husband and I are both home at different times throughout the day. Daily we care for our pets, including exercise and play. We are used to high energy dogs and their needs.

My husband and I always are cautious with our own animals and others. We ensure that they are safe when out in our yard. We always check food & water day and night! We also crate our dogs at night due to their chewy personalities.

I often go out in the yard with Ellie & Olive & Figgis to play fetch. When we have visitor dogs, they tend to play with our dogs. We take walks around the block as well when the weather is nice.
