I am currently a full time employee at the University of Georgia remote field station located near Augusta, GA. Weekdays, my hours are very early in the morning, so I have the early morning to do morning care and I should be home from work earlier in the afternoon- making me available to do walks, feeding, training, check-ins, show some love to my animals I am currently boarding in the evening. My weekends are open!

I have many walking areas near my home, as well as 2 dog parks within a 2 minute walk from me and a large green available for dogs to play in. There is a big dog dog park separated from the small dog dog park!

A typical day with the dogs I watch includes a walk first thing in the morning followed by play time! I then feed and give the dogs lots of love before we go on another walk or to the dog park later in the day! I take the dogs on walks as needed or every 2-3 hours!

I love animals and have cared for animals my entire life. I completed a Certification in Veterinary Assisting in 2019 and have over 500 hours of Veterinary clinical experience including dogs, cats, horses, and exotic animals. I have worked and cared for sick and healthy animals while working in this clinic, as well as having pets at home for the past 15 years of my life. I have cared for senior animals as well as female animals in heat. I love the animals I care for and watch as if they were my own!

Sophia was so wonderful with our two dogs! We had to go out of town suddenly and she was so helpful! She kept us updated on how they were doing and was just an absolute godsend! Can not say enough great things about her!

Sophia took great care of our dogs. She loves animals and does more than just feeding and walking them. She takes time to interact with the dogs and enjoys her time with them. I have also seen her interact with different types of dogs at school events when she was getting her vet tech certification. Her experience is a reassuring factor. My dog, Millie, is one of the most timid dogs I’ve ever seen. It took Sophia less than 5 minutes for her to open and be able to be pet by her without running away. My other older dog just naturally loved her and I’ve never seen a dog she wasn’t able to get along with.
