Safety, trust & environment
I have four dogs and therefore caring for a pet in my own home could prove difficult. However, I am comfortable staying in your house if needed or preferred. I always ask for specific instructions from the owner concerning whatever I need to be informed on because I am aware everyone treats their pet differently.
Information Sophia F. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know any special instructions that tailor to your dogs needs, every dog is different. It helps to have written instructions on either notes or texts, or a note in the house works too!
A typical day
I like to take dogs on walks at least twice a day especially if they are high energy, I love throwing a ball around with dogs and running around with them but most especially cuddling with them.

Pet care experience
I have been caring for dogs since I can remember because I’ve always had dogs of my own. Currently I have 4 dogs that I help take care of daily. I have experience taking care of at minimum two dogs as far as the Seattle area for so far max of two weeks. I have also taken care of chickens at the same time so I am prepared in whatever may need to be done.
Cat care experience

Sophia also cares for cats. Learn about their cat-specific care experience.

This is my first time using Rover and it was a great experience! My dog is old now and has anxiety, she’s usually boarded but this was much easier on her. Sophia was wonderful, very sweet and thorough! I’ll definitely be using her, and rover, again.

I booked a house sitter because I needed someone to be home with my dogs so I wouldn’t have to worry while we were out of the country for 10 days. Unfortunately, we were so worried about our pets we changed our flight to come home early. Our neighbor let us know she was almost never here with them; one of my dogs needed monitored for health changes, another one of our dogs had been missing for 12hrs, overnight, and she didn’t tell me until 30mins before he came back the next day, the house smelled like pee, the water bowls were filthy, and she left earlier than we arranged on the last day. I assumed a lot of common sense care would be given but I was wrong. My dog with health concerns was in a full blown life-threatening diabetic ketoacidosis crisis and had to be rushed to the emergency vet when we got home. I don’t believe Sophia is mature enough to house sit or care for other people’s pets because something was definitely not right and my dog almost died under her care!

She was amazing! There was a lot of bumps in the road for the wedding and she handled it great.

I am so grateful we were able to book Sophia to care for our dogs while we were away. She was quick to communicate, asked thoughtful questions, and was very kind to pass along updates and photos during her stay. Will absolutely be recommending Sophia to my friends and will be reaching out to her the next time we need a house/pet sitter!
