Availability
I currently work from home half the time and spend about four to six hours away from home a few days a week. Dog sitting or walking gives me a chance to not only meet other dog owners but to get out and become more familiar with the city.

Safety, trust & environment
I'm definitely suited for high energy dogs who need to be walked or could use some assistance on leash guiding. If boarding in my home then, I'd be more suitable for indoor dogs who like to go out every few hours.
Information Sophia E. would like to know about your pet
Please advise if your pet will be having surgery or need additonal care prior to the day of service. It not only helps me, but it helps makes things easier on your fur child and their environment. If not notified, an additonal fee will apply. Please note that the house sitting rate is a base rate for overnight care or sitting daily. If more time is needed we can adjust the rate & time accordingly to suit your pet.
A typical day
Typical day starts around 7:45am with feeding the doodles. I usually do a quick line comb and let them hang out until noon. Then we work on commands and do some snuffing and play in the ball pit. Depending on weather, we may play in the splash pad in the back yard and usually go on a walk to the park that's 0.3miles away from the home and work on recall and socialization.

Pet care experience
I specialized in senior small breed rescue for about 5 years and enjoyed it immensely especially the ones who needed around the clock care & medicine. Since moving to San Antonio in 2023, I spend majority of my time rescuing & rehabilitating Doodles and Sheepdogs through Red River Old English Sheepdog rescue.

Reviews

This was the second time I’ve used Sophie, and she was once again reliable, caring, and wonderful with my dog and cat. It gave me peace of mind knowing my pets and home were in good hands. I would definitely recommend her and use her again.

Sophia took care of my 3 cats for several days and everyone was happy! She is easy to communicate with and I'd say just a good person in general:)

Sophia went above for our dogs and cat and we so appreciate her communicativeness throughout our trip!

Sophia was great! She showed up when she said she would, and she even stayed longer than planned to ensure that my dogs and cats were taken care of and had company. I can tell they were very comfortable with Sophia. She also managed to almost win over my semi-feral cat who rarely warms up to anyone. The regular updates were very much appreciated. I would highly recommend Sophia, and she's now my go-to person for pet sitting.
