I've owned dogs and taken care of pets for neighbors, friends, and family members since I was 6. I have experience training puppies and am prepared to provide enrichment for high energy, low energy, young, and old pets alike. I love them all.

We have now booked Sophia 3 times. She takes great care of our two aussies and sends just the right amount of updates. We arrive home to happy dogs and a clean house. I will definitely book her again!
I booked Sophia at the last minute because another Rover cancelled. She responded to my request quickly and we did a meet and greet the next day. She kept my two energetic aussies active with walks and playtime. She sent me photos and videos that gave me peace of mind while on our trip. We arrived home to a clean house and happy dogs. I plan to book her again.
I have complete trust in Sophia's ability to care for our dog. She is very patient and loving with our sweet but headstrong Westie. Sophia does a great job following our detailed instructions and is always punctual and friendly. She makes sure Oliver is safe and well cared for whenever she watches him. She keeps us updated with texts and photos, so we can see that our dog is doing well. Oliver loves his time with Sophia, whether taking a walk or during a house sitting. I would recommend her for any type of pet care.

Schedule
I am currently a masters student at UNCG. I have classes on Monday and Wednesday and work with various performance groups throughout the week. My schedule is variable, so even though I am busy there are a lot of moments in between my daily tasks that allow for attention to be extended to a pet.

Safety, trust & environment
In client's homes, I am respectful of any rules and protocol you'd like me to follow. I will stay in designated areas and follow any instructions you leave for me. If your pet is visiting me I don't have a yard, but I live in a quiet and very walkable neighborhood. I am on the ground floor of a house, so there are no risks associated with a deck or being multiple floors up in a building. Pets are welcome in all areas of my space, including on the furniture, unless you have a rule at home you would like me to reinforce as well. In my own home, pets are an extension of the family and are treated as such. I am an active person and would love to provide long walks, hiking, lake visits, and more with the permission of pet parents.
A typical day
I love to go for long walks and let your dog take in all the smells! We can play games together, but I'll follow their lead in what they want to do and seem to enjoy.
