Hi! My name is Phi and I am an animal lover through and through. Growing up my family always has had dogs, including three Havaneses, two Labrador Retrievers, and one Westie/Yorkie mix. I have a background in dogsitting two Maltese puppies that I took care of for six years total, which provided me with experience on administering oral medication. My experience also includes freelance dog walking and sitting with Wag!. One way that I stand out is that I have also volunteered at my local animal shelter and raised awareness for their adoptable dogs. Other than dogs, currently I own three cats ranging in ages 2 through 5, which has given me a soft spot for both cats and dogs alike. I am so excited for the opportunity to meet your pet through Rover and have a fantastic time with them!

My approach to pet care is founded in the understanding that I have a relationship to build with each animal that I take in or am trusted to care for. These relationships must be founded in trust, love, and understanding for one another. This means that I work to provide comfort and support during things like medication administration, a shoulder to rest a furry head on and cuddle up to, a string toy or ball to encourage playfulness and exercise, and so much more. I treat each animal I care for as if they are my own, ensuring their happiness and wellbeing comes first.

Schedule
I currently work a full-time day shift job, which leaves me with time in the mornings, evenings, and weekends to care for your beloved family member. Daily exercise is important to me, which is always made more fun with a furry friend tagging along! I love adventurous walks, trips to the dog park, and cuddles during rest and recovery. Animals are an important and necessary presence in my life, I am committed to make interacting with them a more common occurrence in my schedule.
