I'm a trustworthy, patient person with over 7 years of experience with pet care. I specialize in cat sitting and am familiar with handling anxious animals. I've worked with cats and am very respectful of their space and needs. I've also have puppy and Boston Terrier experience so I understand how unevenly tempered or high-energy dogs, might behave. I'm a kind, supportive rock which helps me do what is needed for the furbaby. I am also TNR certified and am a community cat caretaker. For your home I also aim to go the extra mile in keeping it clean, orderly and managed. You can be rest assured that any problems will be handled swiftly and with constant communication with you.

Safety, trust & environment
I balance out the owner's preferences, strictly following a provided caresheet, (day or night, how many hours etc) and feel out what the animal needs emotionally (are they anxious, high energy or prefer to sit at a distance for company) so that everyone is a happy camper. By default, I tend to take 1-2 pictures per day/service - if you want more or less just let me know! For house-sitting cats, litter management is always included! (unless specifically requested not to). For house-sitting dogs, walks are included! ( NOTE: This does not apply to drop-ins )

Sophia is great! Lots of photos and good updates. She took great care of my elderly cat who needs medicine and lots of attention.
Sophia was incredible with our 2 Boston terriers. She took time to listen and understand the specifics with one of our Boston terriers and all of his allergies and meds needed. Couldn’t be more appreciative of her cleanliness and how happy the pups were under her care!
Sophia was very friendly and willing to work with unexpected situations. Our pup was very happy when we came home, the cats were calm, and we had nothing to clean up, which is always a plus!
Sophia was very attentive and thoughtful with our energetic little dog. She was communicative and quick to respond during our trip as needed. She was also skilled with administering tricky oral medication for our itchy boy.
Sophia is super caring and communicative. We have an anxious dog with specific routines around meeting strangers and being left alone, and Sophia was great at following these instructions to make sure Junie feels comfortable in every situation - including at the vet! Junie was sad to see her go :)
Sophia is professional, communicative, and extremely reliable. I had full confidence and peace of mind knowing that she was watching my cat during a week abroad, especially during the two days when I was hiking off the grid and entirely unavailable. It's clear that she loves animals and they love her. Highly recommended for all your pet care needs!

I am generally flexible with scheduling and location - focusing on SouthWest Brooklyn but I can also service lower Manhattan and some parts of Queens. Let me know your preferences and I can work with your needs.
