When working with new animals, it’s important to built trust with them, I typically let them sniff my hand first and make an effort to not over step and make them uncomfortable or intimidated. Essentially, I wait for them to come to me when they’re ready. Once trust is built, I love spending time with animals, taking dogs on walks, playing with them, or just having them as company!

I have a dog of my own, her name is Allie, she’s a husky, and we rescued her from the shelter. Once she came home I assisted in training her and getting her acclimated into her new environment. Additionally, I currently pet sit two dogs, one of which struggles with extreme anxiety. Therefore, I understand the importance of having knowledge and meeting the needs of each individual animal.

Sophia is a really good pet sitter. She loves all animals and is always positive about her experience, even when times get rough. She took care of a parrot a few years ago, and while the battle was a bit tough because the parrot was stubborned, she took very good care of it and it's been healthy ever since. For me personally, she's my first point of contact whenever my family needs someone to take care of our puppy. He adores her and loves being taken care of by her, and she knows his routine very well. She's very kind to all pets and loves taking care of them. I recommend Sophia to be a pet sitter by her perseverance, loving personality, and compassionate for who she's taking care of.

Sophia was the best! She was able to sit for my dog last minute and was even comfortable with walking my large dog. She provided frequent updates and many cute pictures! I would book again in a heartbeat :)
