I customize every walk based on the dog’s personality—slow walks with plenty of sniffing, early-morning walks for dogs who prefer to avoid others, or warmer daytime walks for dogs sensitive to the cold. If a dog gets messy from playing, I give them a bath at no extra charge. I also never charge extra when pick-up or drop-off times change or run late. For meals, I can prepare homemade food if the owner approves, and I spend over an hour each day giving massages and one-on-one attention. I also offer enrichment activities using various toys that help stimulate a dog’s mind and curiosity. And if a dog loves sleeping on the bed, I’m happy to let them sleep beside me for extra comfort. Because I provide this level of attentive, high-quality, and individualized care, I feel confident in keeping my current rate and do not go below it. If you asked me what brings me the most joy, I’d say it’s like I have a few different “worlds” that light up my life. First, there’s the world of redwood trails. When I go hiking or running among those giant trees, especially in places a bit farther from home, it feels like stepping into a dream. This was our first time boarding our two pups with Sophia. We had a meet and greet with Sophia prior to the boarding and Jack and Johnny were very happy and comfortable with her. During their stay Sophia kept us updated on how they were doing and took them for walks and send us pictures and videos. We are very happy with Sophia and will be definitely boarding Jack and Johnny with Sophia and her family.
Sophia took amazing care of Dandelion! She treated him like he was a member of her own family. She was also extremely flexible with pickup and drop off times, and was very communicative the entire stay by providing us with plenty of pictures and videos. I would highly recommend her to anyone!
Sophia and her family were wonderful with our labradoodle Hawkeye! Gave him lots of attention and love as well as several walks during our weekend away. We loved getting lots of pictures and videos and it was so reassuring to know that he was well taken care of. Highly recommend!
Sophia and her family were just incredible with our pup. We had a very last-minute cancellation of the dog sitting we had arranged for a multi-day out-of-state trip. We had to decide between cancelling our trip or figuring out brand new dog sitting a couple hours before our flight departure. We saw Sophia's excellent reviews and reached out, and she was able to make it all happen quickly. We stopped by her place for a meet and greet to make sure our pup felt comfortable. She was caring for another dog who got along well with ours, and her space was clean and clear for dog play, plus she has a lovely backyard with a well-tended lawn (something our pup adores). Our pup was immediately at home and tail wagging - we felt very comfortable leaving him with her. Over the course of our time away, Sophia sent numerous photos and videos (which our entire family loved getting to see!) each day, plus written descriptions of how things were going. It was so reassuring and also such fun to see our pup living his best life in her care! We got to watch him play on the lawn with the other dog who was being boarded, go on fun walks, receive massages and cuddles from Sophia and her family, chowing down, etc. We were especially touched that she and her daughter let him sleep in their beds - it is his favorite thing to be cuddled while sleeping at night, and it meant a lot to us that he got treated the way he does when he's at home with us. Sophia was on top of every detail, from our pup's complicated harness system, his multi-step food and supplement prep, and dealing with his age-related hearing loss. If you have a dog who needs detail-oriented special care, she is the sitter for you. We would trust her with all personalized care needs. We picked our pup up last night and we could tell he felt so safe and loved at Sophia's - I think he is missing her and her family today. We'll have to bring him over for another stay! One last thing - over the course of his lifetime (our pup is 14), we have only entrusted our pup's care to (human) family members and vet boarding - this is the first time we had him stay with someone else. So we were pretty anxious about how it would go. Truly, we had so much peace of mind and were able to enjoy our time away because Sophia was so communicative and attentive. We are so excited to find someone that cares for our pup the way we do, like a cherished part of our family. Thank you so much, Sophia!!
I’ve been using Sophia’s service for the past few years and she treat my dog (but all dogs) as her own. She’s very attentive and I can tell by what she tells me, she carefully observes the dogs and go above and beyond for their wellbeing. We’re so grateful to have met Sophia. Thank you!

In our home, taking care of dogs is truly a family activity. I’m not the only one who looks after them — my husband and kids are also deeply involved. In fact, my kids were the ones who wanted to start dog-sitting with me about six years ago, and they’ve grown up learning how to care for dogs with love and responsibility. We all share the joy of spending time with our furry guests. Everyone takes turns walking them, playing with them, and even asking to have the dog sleep in their own bed at night! Our home is always filled with warmth, laughter, and genuine affection for every pet we welcome. I ensure that my furry guests get plenty of attention and care before and after work, including walks, playtime, and cuddles. I dedicate my full attention to them, taking them on longer hikes and spending quality time together. This balanced routine ensures that every dog in my care feels loved and secure throughout the week

Safety is the most important thing in my care. I ensure dogs feel secure and safe in my care all the time. My neighborhood is safe and we all know each other in my neighborhood.
A typical day
I really enjoy spending time outdoors, whether it's hiking through nature or simply going for a walk in the neighborhood. In addition to that, I have a flexible work schedule, which allows me to work from home two days a week. This gives me the perfect opportunity to balance my professional life with my love for outdoor activities.
