I am currently a college student with a job, so this is my part time job. With this, I love animals and enjoy spending time with them, which is why i choose to spend my free time taking care of pets. I can be quite busy at times but I will let you know what is realistic for me to do. I will be very open about my schedule to ensure all pets are given the care they need, and inform you of any major time periods unavailable ahead of time.

Safety, trust & environment
When in a client’s home, I understand that every animal has a routine. I am willing to follow the routine to keep their pet on a consistent schedule, given it’s within reason. As willing to do anything else to make sure all pets are taken well care of and an enjoyable experience for all.
Information Sophia B. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know in advance if there are any special needs, behavior concerns, routine/habits any pet may have that need to be maintained (what their daily schedule looks like), allergies, potty trained, how often needed to be let out, house trained, things to avoid (ie. other animals, certain toys, treats), if your pet is reactive, or any special accommodations needed to make sure they are well taken care of. As well as, if there are any cameras inside of residence, while I am there; I ask that they are turned off for my privacy.
A typical day
I think it is really important to stimulate your pets, both mentally and physically. For physical stimulation, going on walks and playing games, and playing with toys are some of my favorites. As for mental stimulation, games are a great way. I like hiding treats or food in a game to stimulate their mind, or even a slow feeder is a great way to stimulate. Overall, just making sure they are played with, fed, and given lots of pets too, while maintaining their well being. A typical house sitting with me looks like providing your pet with any meals they need, walking them as much as they need, and playing with them. I cannot provide around the clock care, meaning if you need someone to watch over your pet constantly, i would not be a good fit. But if your pet could be left alone for a handful of hours or so, then i’d be happy to stop in to play or give bathroom breaks every so often as they need.

Pet care experience
I have had dogs of my own, as well as been trusted to take care of neighbor’s, family’s, and friend’s dogs. This has included feeding, bathing, brushing, administering medications, walking, and watching their dogs overnight. I understand that each dog is different with their own personality and has different needs; with this, I am willing to take care of each dog as needed. I believe it is important to work with their owners to make sure their pets’ and owners’ needs are met and have an enjoyable experience.

Do NOT hire this sitter — our puppy was abandoned ⚠️ We had an extremely serious and dangerous experience with Sophia B, and I am writing this to warn other pet owners, especially anyone with puppies or animals that require supervision. Sophia was booked to care for our 5-month-old puppy while we were away on a family trip. Before the booking, we met with her twice (January 5 and January 31, 2026) to clearly review expectations and ensure she was comfortable with the responsibility. She expressed no concerns, agreed to all terms, and assured us she could handle the care. The expectations were very clear: • Our puppy was not to be left unattended outside of her kennel • If Sophia needed to be away for extended periods, she agreed to notify us so backup care could step in • Our puppy was not to be taken on walks • She was also responsible for feeding our fish tanks All instructions were provided verbally and in writing, along with emergency contacts and Wi-Fi so she could comfortably stay in our home. Despite all of this, on the first day of the booking: • She arrived for only 15 minutes, then left our puppy alone for over three hours. • She admitted via the Rover app that she left our puppy out of her kennel, directly violating our agreement. • She returned briefly (approximately 25 minutes), then left again and was gone for over four hours, only returning at 10:30 PM after we messaged her through the app requesting an immediate call. • She stated that she had lost her phone and had another job to complete. Ultimately, Sophia quit without notice, left our puppy alone, placed the house key under our doormat, and walked away, without waiting for alternative care to be secured. Our puppy was effectively abandoned, and she notified us via the APP an hour after she abandoned our puppy that she was quitting. We were forced to scramble during a family vacation to prevent a potentially tragic outcome. This was not a misunderstanding or a minor lapse, it was a complete failure to provide basic care, supervision, and communication. Leaving a young puppy unattended after explicitly agreeing not to is incredibly dangerous. If you value your pet’s safety, do not hire this sitter.
