I currently work full time but tackle on morning shifts at most, I am completely available afternoons, fully free mondays and saturdays for daycare or full day service and always available to drop in on my breaks, before & after work for walks, feeding, playtime and check-ins.

With the three services I do offer, I love activity depending on owners request I can make sure a dog receives activity throughout the day. Communication is everything, I would love to update pet owners on how the pet(s) may be doing, as well as learn about a dogs personality, if they’re athletic, lap lovers, food motivated, reactive, and other dog friendly. I work with all kinds of animals ranging in different social spectrums and can accommodate to those situations. I love animals of any size and can use a good workout or good cuddle! All depending on the animal. I can help understand dogs with anxious attributes being separated from their loved ones and hopefully form a bond and make sure they have a safe space when away from their family. I have dog /cat first aid & cpr training due to my current work status and feeding / medication training as well. I would love more then anything to have the honor of taking care of your fur babies!

Please let me know if your dog is good with other dogs, if they are allowed to walk side by side with my animals. I would also like to know medication and feeding procedures and any type of house needs, if you need the trash taken out due to animals getting into them, if you require any favors during service. Please feel free to contact me about anything I can help you with prior or during service, or any questions you may have after as well.
A typical day
I love walks, runs and hikes. I strive to get a dog tired to succeed my own fitness goals as well. Backyard play is awesome and if a dog im taking care of is social with other animals I would socialize them with my fully vaccinated in all vaccines & trained dog oliver, a border collie who is my right hand man, he is used at work to help dogs feel less anxiety in a group setting, he’s the perfect play mate. (Dog socialization will only be available if given permission by the owner) I want to form friendships with animals and give them a safe space to freely do what they please and are comfortable with.

Pet care experience
I am currently a cross trained bather and animal care technician at k9 resorts Albuquerque. My passion is dogs with some canine volunteer work. I am currently going to school online and in person as a animal science technician and have two of my own dogs, they’re very polite and fun loving boys.

Sophia is amazing! She watched my pets while I was out of town. She took exceptional care of my German Shepherd, Indica, my Mini Dachshund, MJ, and my cat, Emily. She ensured their well-being, adhered to feeding schedules, administered medications when needed, and provided ample playtime and exercise. With Sophia, your pets will receive the love, care, and security they deserve. I came home to happy and healthy pets, who I can tell were very well cared for. She will be my go to for all my future pet care needs from now on!
Sophie is a wonderful pet sitter who takes excellent care of our furry troop! Right off the bat when we first met her we got an excellent first impression. She is very warm and friendly and was great with our pets! When we came home after our weekend away our pets were relaxed and happy.
