I'm currently working part-time and studying to become a dog trainer. So I'm looking for every opportunity to walk and care for dogs of any ages and size to get all the experience I can! I will generally be available after 2pm on weekdays and am flexible on the weekends.

Studying to become a Dog Trainer

I own a GSD/Shar Pei Mix named Moose and have learned a lot since rescuing her in 2023. I've been volunteering at local shelters since then where I care for dogs of varying ages. Earlier this year, I completed a three-month internship with the Penn Vet Working Dog Center where we trained dogs in obedience, agility, scent work, husbandry, and more.

I've known Sophia for many years and would highly recommend her services. She's responsible and professional with a positive calm energy. She has experience working with a variety of breeds and sizes, including large high-energy dogs. She has great attention to the behavior of the dog and their needs, making adjustments as needed to make sure they are well attended to. If you're looking for a reliable competent caregiver, Sophia does an excellent job.
Sophia is excellent dog owner and caregiver. She has done a wonderful job raising a 3-year-old German Shepherd who has anxiety. Sophia has cared for my puppy, a now 2-year-old labradoodle, several times in the two years I've had her. My dog is always happy to see her and Sophia has always done a great job at caring for her when I was gone. Communication is super important when leaving your beloved pet in the care of someone else. She is on top of sending updates and photos while I am away which is always appreciated. Sophia worked at a working dog training center and learned lots of training techniques and fitness training for dogs. Sophia is an easy person to trust with my fluffball and would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for someone to care for their dog. She is incredibly patient and has a calm demeanor which gives me peace of mind leaving my pet with her.
