With experience caring for all kinds of pets, from shy and anxious companions to energetic and outgoing furballs, I understand that every pet is unique. I’ve also had the honor of caring for elderly dogs in the final stages of life, offering them gentle, attentive, and compassionate support when they need it most. Whether your pet is a snuggly lap lover or an independent explorer, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. Let’s chat, I’d love to meet you and your furry friend!

Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I maintain a calm, secure, and pet-friendly environment where animals can relax and feel at home. My space is carefully pet-proofed to prevent access to anything unsafe, and I ensure their surroundings are clean, cozy, and stress-free. I even play special soothing music to help pets feel more relaxed and at ease, especially helpful for anxious or senior animals. I follow all care instructions closely, from feeding routines to medications, and I supervise pets attentively during walks and playtime. I’m experienced with animals who have medical conditions, mobility challenges, or special needs, and have even raised chickens and bottle fed baby goats. I always strive to create a loving and secure environment where your pet is treated like family.

We love having Sonya care for our pets as if they were her own. She’s incredibly thoughtful and great with a number of different behaviors. She’s also really flexible with times if you’re having to leave and arrive at different points of the day. Can’t say enough good things!
As always Sonya takes such good care of our small and skittish dog. Someone who really cares for my dog.
Our dog has high anxiety and Sonya handles him with so much love and care. When we arrived home he is calm and relaxed. She really know how to care for our little old dog.
Sonya was such a great sitter for our fur babies! She was very helpful and communicative -this was our first time doing home sitting and we’re very happy with how it went! Even though we’re sure staying at home helped ease our pets, we believe Sonya did the heavy lifting in soothing them while we were away and provided them with much needed love. They had never been so calm when we’ve returned before as they were this time which is a testament to her care and approach and how comfortable they felt with her
Sonya never disappoints. She is very respectful to not only Rover but our home as well. She is dependable and reliable. Wonderful person!
Sonya is Amazing. My dog has bad anxiety and is on Prozac. She took such good care of him. I can tell by the way my dog reacted to me when I got home. He was happy to see me but calm. ☺️

Schedule
I work from home with a very flexible schedule, which means your pet will get plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m available for frequent walks, playtime, and companionship. Whether your pet needs a consistent routine or just some extra love during the day, I’ll be there to provide it.
