I've been caring for dogs since I was 12 years old, starting with family members' and neighbors' pets. Now, at 28, I still genuinely love spending time with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. Your dog's comfort and safety are my top priorities. I own my home, which has a large, fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely play and explore, along with a doggy door so they can easily go in and out throughout the day. Because my own dogs have sensitive stomachs, I understand how important feeding routines are. Every dog is fed separately to ensure they receive the correct food and to prevent food sharing or upset stomachs. Whether your pup loves to play, relax, or just wants plenty of attention and affection, I'll make sure they feel at home while you're away. I treat every dog in my care like they're part of the family and look forward to giving them a safe, fun, and loving place to stay.

Sonya has been working with me for about 3 years now; taking care of my dogs for me when my family goes on vacation. She is a very hardworking, kind, and loving girl. She has grown up around and just seems to have a heart for them. Now I will only go to her for taking care of my dogs.

Schedule
Dogs in my care become part of my daily routine and are treated like family. Throughout the day, they'll have plenty of opportunities to go outside, play in my large backyard, relax indoors, and receive lots of love and attention. I keep a consistent schedule and do my best to follow each dog's normal routine, including feeding times, potty breaks, medications (if needed), and exercise.

Throughout the day, dogs have access to my spacious backyard for supervised outdoor time, as well as comfortable indoor spaces to rest and relax. My home is equipped with a doggy door, allowing easy access between indoors and outdoors while ensuring they are always monitored in a secure environment. I believe every dog deserves individualized attention, patience, and affection. Whether your pup enjoys active play or prefers a quiet place to unwind, I'll provide personalized care to help them feel comfortable, happy, and at home while you're away.

A typical day
Every dog in my care receives plenty of individual attention, affection, and enrichment throughout their stay. I enjoy spending quality time with each dog, whether that means going for walks, playing interactive games, or simply giving them the love and attention they deserve—including plenty of belly rubs if they enjoy them! For dogs that are social and enjoy canine companionship, there are opportunities to play with my friendly, well-socialized dogs in a safe and supervised environment. I tailor activities to each dog's personality and energy level to ensure they feel comfortable, engaged, and right at home while you're away.

I'm happy to follow your pet's routine and provide individualized care based on their needs. If you would like your dog to receive treats during their stay, please bring their favorite treats or any treats you prefer they have. I also ask that you provide clear feeding instructions, including portion sizes and meal times, so I can maintain their normal routine. My own dogs are fed twice daily—once in the morning and once in the evening—and I am happy to accommodate your dog's schedule whenever possible.
