**Note: Rovers service fee of $8 is included in the rate showing, that is not how much I am making.** My first job was as a 10 year old when I papered my neighbourhood to walk my neighbours dogs. I had three dogs within a week. That quickly evolved into taking care of their dogs when they went out of town. I loved it. I still do. I was fortunate to grow up in a household with dogs, we weren’t able to have cats, my brother was allergic. But would have loved them just as much. I care for animals like they are a part of my own family, I’m the loving aunt that everyone loves to visit because she’s got the good treats and she’s going to spoil you with love and affection. I’m comfortable and confident around all breeds, big, small, medium, active and lethargic.

I am not allowed dogs in my current home, much to my heart break. But in someone else’s home I would ensure they have the meals that have been allocated l, outdoor breaks as needed, wiping of the paws before coming back in, clearing out eye gunk, and getting fresh water daily, or as required, for them.
Ratings and reviews
Sonya did an amazing job watching our dog, Koda for our recent trip away. She sent a ton of photos (she could easily be a pro pet photographer) and we could tell Koda felt loved, safe and happy. It meant the world to know our girl was in good hands. I’d highly recommend Sonya to anyone looking for someone to take care of their fur babies!
Sonya looked after my two girls while I went away for a weekend. I was very nervous as one of my girls gets worried when I even leave to take the garbage, but Sonya sent me photos and videos and both of them were so clearly relaxed and happy and enjoying their time! I can't express what a great feeling it is to know your fur babies are being well taken care of so you can actually go away without stress!
Sonya is wonderful! My girls are always SO happy to see her and she takes such thoughtful and attentive care of them both.
Sonya was amazing with our little old girl. She sent a lot of pictures and kept us updated on everything! This was a last minute booking and it was easy to communicate with her. We felt very confident with her house sitting. The house was also very clean and we came back. We definitely recommend her for your furry babies. Thank you Sonya!
Sonya came over the day that Maisy got spayed and just relaxed with the girls. She has such a peaceful and calm energy and it is so lovely to see Maisy fall asleep curled up next to her while she was recovering. The girls are very relaxed with her and that is such a nice feeling as a pet parent!
Sonja was absolutely amazing! She really helped us out in such a pinch when we really needed her. It is very hard for me to leave my dog with anybody, and I rarely do it, so I was very particular who could watch him and my instincts were correct. Sonja is a very good person and a genuine animal lover. Her love for animals is palpable and not at all a performance. My dog loved her from the minute he met her and he was in excellent hands with her.
