With over 20 years of experience sharing my life with my own dogs, I have cultivated a profound affection and respect for canines in general. Additionally, I have had the opportunity to care for dogs belonging to family members and friends, further solidifying my appreciation for these animals. The therapeutic impact of dogs is unmistakable, and I have personally benefited from their companionship. I take great pleasure in providing dogs with the attention, love, and care they deserve. Being surrounded by dogs fills me with immense joy, and I deeply value their unwavering loyalty and profound companionship. My spouse shares my passion for dogs and actively participates in their care, bringing a sense of calm and serenity to their interactions, which dogs seem to naturally gravitate towards. My interaction style tends to lean towards an effusive, enthusiastic approach when it comes to canine affection, characterized by excited vocalizations, whereas my husband adopts a more composed demeanor without expectation, which, to my surprise, seems to be preferred by the dogs.

Great experience all around, wonderful host, great communication, very friendly and welcoming. And Sonya actually knowing how to socialize dogs was a bonus and even didn't need our cages which saved me time not having to unpack the car which allowed us to get to the slopes. If you're skiing Caberfae Peaks and need a spot for your doggos this is the place!
Curly loves going to Sonya's house! He always comes home very happy and tired. It's so nice to have a trusted sitter for him when we're away.
