Hi there! I’m new to the Richmond area and can’t wait to explore the city, preferably with a furry friend (or two) by my side. I’ve been the go to pet sitter for family, friends, coworkers, and neighbors since 2007. Whether it’s playful pups, snuggly seniors, or quirky cats, I’ve cared for them all and I treat every pet like they’re part of my own family. • Super flexible schedule • Happy to stay in your home (I’m neat, respectful, and come with glowing references) • Excellent communicator and completely trustworthy with both pets and homes • Big believer in belly rubs, treat breaks, and whatever makes your pet happiest I can’t host pets in my own home but, I’m more than happy to travel or housesit wherever your fur baby feels most at home. I’d love to meet Richmond’s locals and give them all the love and care they deserve.

Sonjia took great care of River and great care of the house while we were on vacation. She took thorough notes about each day, took him on long walks, and included photo updates. River definitely misses his new friend and we look forward to rebooking in the future. Highly recommend!
Sonjia was excellent! She went above and beyond what I could have expected. I was anxious leaving my pets in the care of someone else but she quickly dispelled those worries. You can tell she truly loves and cares about the animals. She also went out of her way to make sure that my house was left better than how I previously left it. I would highly recommend her to anyone! :)
There aren’t enough words to describe how amazing Sonjia has been for our sweet dog Tito! She’s been the only person I’ve trusted to care for him anytime we’re out of town and on a regular basis. Sonjia pays extra attention to details, does great with walking him, feeding him with his special food mix, and playing with him. She is truly one of the best and we appreciate all she does for us! You will not be disappointed by entrusting her with the care of your pets, she is truly a wonderful person who takes her responsibilities very seriously and wholeheartedly!
Sonjia has cared for our family dog since he was a puppy. Our dog is now 5 years old and has become quite fond of Sonjia. We use Sonjia, not only because of her caregiving skills with our pet, but due to her flexible availability. If we need her to watch our dog for an extended period of time, she has always been able to accommodate. She is extremely professional and very forthcoming about the activities conducted while in her care. If your pet has special needs or requires additional assistance, Sonjia is great with accommodating. I strongly recommend Sonjia to any customers requiring an animal lover with a lot of integrity.

While I can’t offer boarding in my home (my cat kindly lets me live there), I’m happy to care for your pets in your home. I treat every house with respect and every pet with the same love, compassion, and excitement as if they were my own.

A typical day
All depends on them! I’m all in for long walks with high energy pups or a Netflix marathon with a cuddle loving couch potato. From black cats to golden retrievers, I match their vibe with love, patience, and plenty of attention. Whatever keeps the pet in the most safe and comfortable environment while their loved ones our way.
