I am retired and involved in Performance Sports with my dogs. My time is spent working with my four dogs and am used to watching other small dogs as my schedule is very flexible.

I have a fenced yard which includes a small separately fenced area on the main level to give them a secure out time several times a day with no stairs. I have four small friendly dogs that are used to being around other dogs as they compete in various performance sports.

Their personality, routine and up-to-date vaccine and medical records and emergency contact info. All will need to be on flea and tick preventative prior to coming into my home. I am able to accommodate dogs no more than 25 lbs. and a max of 3 at a time.

We can take walks through the garden and property. I am able to teach basic obedience, and Agility for additional pricing. I am an AKC Fit Dog AKC Star Puppy and CGC Evaluator, so I am able to engage them in fun activities. We love to hike locally, so if that is something that a Pet Parent would like I can give you pricing on this extra service.

1.7 Acre Property with Main House, Garden Sheed, Greenhouse and small koi pond. All 3 board fencing and secure non climb fencing. Small area close to house fenced for easy access on main level for easy outs. No stairs to climb. Easy access to I-81 I-66, Rt. 522 & 340, Rt. 50. Country living close to Winchester. Country living in a secure fenced 1 acre area. Approximately,12 miles northwest of Winchester. My mornings are consumed with activities surrounding my pets. We walk, run, train. They get special snuggle time, grooming and socialization with family, friends and canine friends. They love to help me garden, explore their land, chase butterflies and fireflies. This is a special bucolic setting in the country that your special pet will love. Please ask for pricing for special needs, elderly care and rehabilitation. Experienced with critical care and non-ambulatory pets having spent years rescuing and rehabilitating special needs pets and training as a vet. tech at a local Animal Hospital. Sonja is such a great sitter and I am so glad I found her on Rover! My dog, Toby, has stayed with her three times now and he was so excited when we arrived at her house to drop him off! Sonja has been consistently excellent each time. She sends pictures and updates each day, communicates effectively and scheduling is always a breeze. She is really good with my high energy pup and I can tell she is experienced and knowledgeable when it comes to caring for and training dogs. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a good, reliable, caring sitter for their pet.
Sonja is amazing! This was Toby's second stay at Sonja's for the weekend. Toby has a lot of energy and Sonja is really great with him. She takes him on hikes and adventures with her pups and sends picture updates. She also has a big fenced in yard where he can run around. Sonja is very friendly, has excellent communication, and responds promptly. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a good, reliable sitter.
Sonja was amazing! She's super friendly, easy to communicate with, and responded quickly to messages. She welcomed my dog, Toby, into her home and treated him as one of her own. She sent us pictures and updates each day. Toby is very active and Sonja made sure he got plenty of exercise hiking and playing. I highly recommend her. Thank you, Sonja!
Delightful person to leave our dog with, and we definitely hope to board him with her again in the future. We enjoyed the pictures and updates, and it seems like he had a great time. She even give him a bath when he got dirty!
