I firmly believe in setting your pets up for success. I am willing to adapt to your dog’s needs, respect their space, and provide treats and affection when they feel comfortable. This would be done by continuing to reinforce their behavior and general routine you’ve established with them, as well as provide enrichment activities like walking, playing, or feeding puzzles you approve for your pets. Also comfortable taking care of your pet’s meal, medication, and clean up needs. My services include dog walking, drop-in visits, and pet sitting at the client’s home where your pet can feel the most comfortable, safe, and stress-free. I am happy to send you photos and text message updates of your wonderful dogs.

I would like to know your pet’s personality or temperament, general routine, their favorite treats, toys, and activities they enjoy. I also would like to know if they have a quirks, fears, anxieties, or reactive triggers as well medications and medical needs. I would prefer a meet and greet to see if I’m the best fit for your pet, but open to text/phone consultation.
A typical day
I am willing to provide walks, indoor and outdoor play, including fetch, tug of war, and tag. Happy to also just lounge, pet, and cuddle next to them if they feel comfortable. Also if owner feels comfortable, can provide enrichment activities such as sniffler/lick mats, Kong Gyro or Wobbler food dispenser, and frozen treats. Willing to provide meals, oral medications, pet clean up, and comfortable putting your pets in kennel if required.

I’ve loved being around dogs my entire life! I grew up with two English Springer Spaniels and am currently raising two large breed dogs of my own. I love dogs of all shapes and sizes and am especially comfortable with large dogs. I have previously done pet sitting for neighbors and coworkers of mine. I have raised and trained both my dogs when they were over 10 weeks old and am comfortable with puppy care. I have also dealt with unexpected medical issues and have provided necessary medication and diet care when needed for pets. I have first hand experience caring for dogs with separation anxiety. Also comfortable with crate or room care depending on the dog’s needs.

I was very confident after doing a meet and greet with Sonja that she would be able to handle my skittish German Shepherd. Sonja left me a detailed report of the drop-in, which went well. I am happy to have found someone dependable and trustworthy to let my dogs out so I could enjoy my son's wedding without worrying about them.
Sonja does a great job with our dig every time she takes care of him. She has become our very trusted sitter.
Sonja is amazing with our two rescue pups! They have some specific needs, including separation anxiety and reactivity, and Sonja has the skills and experience to care for them. We felt totally comfortable leaving them in her care and we recommend her highly!
Sonja does an excellent job taking care of our dog Rowdy. She kept him calm during the fireworks over the 4th of July and even let him wake her up in the middle of the night so he wouldn’t have to go out in the midst of the noise. We highly recommend her!
