Sonia and Mick's Dog Holiday Home
We have owned seven dogs over 46 years, ranging from puppies to rehomes and rescue, so we have a lot of experience of different dog needs. Providing care as a couple means that your dog gets double the security and love it deserves.

Meg enjoyed her trial night with Sonia and Mick They are both a lovely couple and Meg was looked after and safe We were sent updates and Meg spent most her time in the garden and a trip to the beach 🐶
Perfect dog minders! couldn’t wish for anything more from such a lovely couple who cared for my Carl… his 2nd visit and he couldn’t wait to get through the door ! It’s so comforting knowing Carl enjoyed staying with this loving family, all the photos showed how happy he was! 5*
This was Molly’s second stay with Sonia and Mick. She was very excited to see them again and happily ran in to their house. Again she was treated like one of their family. Thank you both.
Manny as usual enjoyed his stay with Sonia and Mick after his initial crying from his mum and dad leaving him for a few days 😄 he gets really well looked after with plenty of walks and a trip to the pub!!
Monty stayed with Sonia and Mick for a week and he’s had a brilliant time. Monty suffers with separation anxiety and always needs ‘A PERSON’ and I’m so pleased to say he found that here. Their communication was brilliant they kept us up-to-date with pictures and text whilst we were on holiday which put our minds at rest. We felt he was completely in safe hands and very happy and I would not hesitate to use Sonia and Mick again thank you so much for looking after our third child! X

Schedule
We are active retirees who have the time and love to provide dogs with their own holiday treat whilst their owner take a break. We live in West Kirby and enjoy walks along the beach, the Wirral Way and the local hillside. Any dog that stays with us is regarded as a member of the household and we take them out with us whenever we can.

Safety, trust & environment
We are lucky to have a spacious house and garden and there are several dog beds located throughout the house for those dogs not satisfied with the sofas and beds! The garden is fully fenced and secure with a mix of lawn and trees for shade on a hot day.
A typical day
Dog holidays start here! Walking on the beach, the Wirral Way and local parks and woodland depending on the dog's requirement. Visits to the local pubs for those dogs who like to socialise in this way.
