We are active retirees who have the time and love to provide dogs with their own holiday treat whilst their owner take a break. We live in West Kirby and enjoy walks along the beach, the Wirral Way and the local hillside. Any dog that stays with us is regarded as a member of the household and we take them out with us whenever we can.

We are lucky to have a spacious house and garden and there are several dog beds located throughout the house for those dogs not satisfied with the sofas and beds! The garden is fully fenced and secure with a mix of lawn and trees for shade on a hot day.

Dog holidays start here! Walking on the beach, the Wirral Way and local parks and woodland depending on the dog's requirement. Visits to the local pubs for those dogs who like to socialise in this way.

We have owned seven dogs over 46 years, ranging from puppies to rehomes and rescue, so we have a lot of experience of different dog needs. Providing care as a couple means that your dog gets double the security and love it deserves.

Massive thank you to Sonia and Mick for looking after Arlo. He looked like he had the best time, I was worried he might not want to come home! 😂Sonia sent us lots of photos and videos and really put our minds at rest that he was well looked after. We wouldn’t hesitate to ask them to have him again, they got to know him and think he thought he was in a home from home!
Molly had a lovely week with Sonia and Mick. We were sent lots of pictures of Molly out and about, she was treated just like a member of their family. It was lovely to know Molly was so well looked after while we were away on holiday. Thank you both.
Sonia is friendly and appears very relaxed around the dogs. Sonia shared photos of them both in her home and when they were out and about. Both Pickles and Pixie came back very happy from their visit. Pixie is quite anxious and excitable and shows this by being vocal. Sonia understood this and gave her the support she needed. Very happy with the care the dogs were given.
Manny really enjoys his stay at Sonias hotel - she is very caring and fantastic dog minder. Manny always takes time to settje in - he is a very clingy cockapoo but she always reassures him and he soon settles down - Sonia is the only dog minder we have approached & we think she is wonderful - thank you Sonia for reassuring us that Manny is ok sending us lots photies of all the walks he has been on.
