Animal lover, attentive and caring
I had a dog for 14 years and one does feel their absence when they go. Since then, I didn't own my own dog again, but I feel a special connection with most dogs whenever we encounter each other. I look after my friends' pets when they need to travel and the pets couldn't be happier, and that makes me very happy too! So I thought of expanding this love further and offer my time to take care of animals :) I enjoy cuddles on the sofa, playtime and conscious and fun walks, but, above all, I will always adapt to their personality to ensure their stay with me matches their routine and habits as much as possible. I have experience with most types of pets and dogs with special needs, such as reactivity, medication or separation anxiety. I will be happy to discuss any special needs your pet may have. I do not have dogs or cats at home, therefore, I can host reactive dogs. I can also take on social pets from different families as long as their respective owners are happy with this beforehand.

We've used Sonia and George many times to look after our dog, Chelsea, and they've been fantastic every time. Chelsea is always so excited to see them, which says it all! They clearly care about her and always keep her entertained, happy, and well looked after. It's a real comfort knowing she's in such good hands whenever we're away.
Sonia was absolutely fantastic with our dogs, Doris and Dottie. From the moment we dropped them off, I felt they were in genuinely safe hands. She kept us updated regularly throughout their stay with messages and photos, which gave us real peace of mind. Her communication was brilliant, and it was clear how much love, attention, and fun she gave to our pets. We came home to two very happy, relaxed dogs. I couldn’t recommend Sonia more highly.
Sonia looked after my two dogs really well. She kept sending me photos to keep me informed as to how they were. They had a great time with Sonia, we are already booked in again. I would highly recommend 😊

Schedule
I work from home and have most weekends free. I enjoy going for walks in the nature with my furry friends or staying around town. I usually go for 2 or 3 walks per day when pets stay with me, and will make them shorter or longer depending on their age, routine and energy level.

Safety, trust & environment
My home is safe and there is plenty of space to run around in the garden. I live in a residential quiet area. There is also a park nearby where I like to go to train, walk or enjoy a snack.
A typical day
I love to give love to all kinds of animals and I also love exercising and keeping active. I really enjoy going for long walks, especially in the park next to our home where pets can explore new smells, play and make new friends!

- I kindly ask that bookings are not made with me for dogs who are markers (urinating to mark territory o due to anxiety), dogs that are not fully house-trained, or puppies/adult dogs who are not in full control of their bladder for any reason, for example excitement, fear or age. I would also appreciate being informed if your pet has any special needs or allergies, so I can adjust my care to suit them as best as possible. Additionally, for the comfort and well-being of all, I kindly request that your dog is washed or groomed before the drop-off date.
