I’ve been a devoted pet owner for many years and currently share my home with Winnie, our much-loved Cavapoo, and two cats, Beau and Nero. Caring for animals has always been one of the greatest joys in my life, and I genuinely love getting to know each pet’s unique personality and quirks. As a pet owner myself, I know how difficult it can be to leave your pets in someone else’s care. That’s why I believe every animal deserves to be treated with patience, kindness, affection and plenty of fuss! Winnie has epilepsy and requires daily medication, while Nero has asthma and needs a daily inhaler, so I have hands-on experience caring for pets with additional medical needs and following established care routines. I’m comfortable administering medication, recognising when something isn’t quite right and making sure pets feel safe, happy and reassured while you’re away. I offer dog walking and drop-in visits for both dogs and cats. Whether your pet needs an energetic walk, a play session, feeding, medication, cuddles on the sofa, or simply some company and reassurance, I’ll take the time to get to know their individual personality, routine and preferences. I understand that every pet is different. Some want endless games and adventures, while others prefer a quiet cuddle and a gentle ear scratch. Whatever makes your pet happiest, that’s exactly the care they’ll receive. I’ll also keep you updated with regular messages and photos, because I know how reassuring it is to see your pet happy and content while you’re away. My aim is simple: to care for your pets as if they were my own, so you can relax knowing they’re in safe, loving and reliable hands.

As a pet owner myself, I understand how important trust is when leaving your pets in someone else’s care. I will always follow your pet’s routine, feeding schedule and any specific instructions carefully. I have experience caring for pets with medical needs, including administering medication and inhalers. Your pet’s safety, wellbeing and happiness will always be my priority, and I’ll treat both your pets and your home with the utmost respect.

We can’t recommend Sonia highly enough for her dog sitting and walking services. She takes amazing care of our dog, Max, and it’s clear how much she genuinely loves animals. Max is always excited to see her, and we have complete peace of mind knowing he’s in such caring and capable hands. Sonia is reliable, trustworthy, and always goes the extra mile to make sure Max is happy, well exercised, and looked after. Sonia is absolutely wonderful with my two Golden Retrievers. They get so excited whenever she comes to look after them, which says everything about how much they adore her! She truly spoils them with cuddles, long walks, and plenty of fun games, giving them all the love and attention they could wish for. What I appreciate most is how she keeps me updated with regular photos and videos, so I can see just how happy and relaxed they are while I'm away. Knowing my dogs are in Sonia's care gives me complete peace of mind. She is caring, reliable, and genuinely passionate about animals. I have known Sonia for decades and always found her to be kind and affectionate. She has 2 cats and a dog who are beautifully cared for. She got the cats about twelve years ago and sadly one of them was run over within 2 years. However there was a local stray that kept coming to her door and she took it on, posted notices about it looking for the owner, then took it to the vets to be cleaned up, treated and neutered. He then became part of thd family. She got a dog in 2019 who is adored. She looks after my young dog who worships her.. she will be a great asset to your team.
