Hello, my name is Sonia! I have worked with various organizations throughout Monterey County, where I received training in animal behavior and boarding. Over the past five years, I’ve gained valuable experience creating daily routines that help animals feel comfortable and cared for. I am currently a volunteer at the SPCA clinic as a vet assistant, and help at the cat and dog adoption center. I have also worked at a local veterinary clinic and am now a full-time Rover sitter! I am CPR certified and comfortable administering both oral medications and injections. During my time on Rover, I’ve had the pleasure of meeting so many wonderful pets and building great relationships with both them and their owners. I love sending daily photos and updates so pet parents can feel at ease while they’re away. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns—I’m always happy to help. Thank you! :) P.S. My pup Tommy does not accompany me to visits or house sittings, so no worries if your pet prefers to be the only animal in the home. :)

I have 9 years of previous experience with boarding animals and work well with sticking to the specifics of every pet's needs. I have experience with all different breeds, including those requiring extra medical attention. I am trained in administering injections as well. I can also care for reptiles, birds, and any other pet in the household.

Schedule
Hello, welcome to my page! A little about me: I have a degree in Molecular Biology from California State University, Monterey Bay (CSUMB) and am currently pursuing a degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography. My school schedule is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 6:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Outside of those hours, I have flexible availability, including Tuesdays, Thursdays, weekends, and most afternoons and evenings. I’m available for house sitting, drop-in visits, and dog walks. I love getting to know each pet’s unique personality and routine, so I always like to schedule a meet-and-greet beforehand. It gives us a chance to make sure everyone feels comfortable and helps me provide the best care possible for your furry family member. I look forward to meeting you and your pets!
