💚 I am 27 years old and have been volunteering and working with cats and dogs since 2014. I worked in a cat shelter for a few years but now I am a vet tech working toward obtaining licensure. I still volunteer weekly at an animal shelter, too—-since 9/2014! 💚🐾 💚🐾 I have experience with cats and dogs of all kinds and temperaments. Animals make up a huge chunk of my heart and being surrounded by animals with work, volunteering, and pet sitting brings me so much joy. Pet sitting is something I do for the love of it more than anything. 💚🐾 Vet tech flex- I have experience administering oral/pill, liquid, and injectable medications (i.e, insulin) to both dogs and cats. I also know how to perform SQ (subcutaneous) fluid therapy for both cats and dogs. 💚🐾 I rely on public transit and the occasional Uber at the moment and I primarily accept clients who live in: Rogers Park, Lincoln Park, Evanston, Logan Square, Irving Park, Lakeview, Wrigleyville, Uptown, and Edgewater. Unfortunately, I cannot accommodate visits to the suburbs.* 💚🐾 Services requested for *non-suburban* locations that are outside of my service radius *may* be accommodated but will be done on a case by case basis. 💚🐾 I will make sure your furry friend has everything they need according to the information we cover during a meet and greet! I treat a client’s home as if it were my own and I will keep things clean, tidy, and will always ask a client about where something is instead of looking for it myself. For both drop in visits and overnights, I will keep an eye out for any mail or packages the client gets and will bring them inside. 😊

Sonia took great care of our puppies and our home. This is the second time we have booked her and are glad that we did. We got cute pup dates and feel that our home and our pets were well cared for in our absence. We recommend her to alll!
Sonia did a great job with Finn! She kept in close contact and provided daily updates on how he was doing. She takes great care and and consideration to her approach and is clearly knowledgeable in her pet care. I will definitely book again!
Sonia did a terrific job house sitting with our dog, Abby. Although a bit wary at first, Abby quickly warmed up to her new “friend.” Sonia did a meet and greet with us beforehand so that she could learn more about the dog she would be caring for, including eating habits, behavior, etc.; after that, we felt perfectly comfortable leaving Abby (and our home) in Sonia’s capable hands. Sonia gave us regular progress reports during the 4+ days we were away, and when we returned, Abby seemed content, and the house looked just like we’d left it. We’d definitely recommend Sonia.
Sonia took great care of our dogs and our home while we were out of town! Our dogs were in a great mood when we got home (they’re usually very grumpy after we’ve been gone). She was super communicative and followed all of our special requests. We definitely recommend her and will be rebooking with her soon.

Schedule
I am a vet tech working full time. Dog walking, cat sitting and pet sitting are my side jobs. I also volunteer once a week at an animal shelter. I love what I do so I always find a way to make it work where animals are concerned.
