I regularly update my calendar on Rover. I will be returning to work the 1st of August so I will not be available from 7AM-4:30PM. I usually work holidays during the school year!

I’m extra careful in approaching new animals. I’m familiar with odd body behavior. Before leaving, I check for locked doors and closed windows. If you want your dog in a crate when I am gone, I will make sure to leave them as safe and comfortable in their crate before stepping out. The safety and comfort of your animal is always a priority to me.

The fun activities I will do with pets I watch are take them for walks. If pet parents are okay with it I will take their dogs to the dog park, I am always up for playing with high energy pets their favorite games, and I’ll provide lots of pets, cuddles, and treats (if ok’d by owners).

I’ve been a pet lover all my life. Fish, rodents, dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, I’ve owned them all. Since I was a child I would research animals when we’d go to the library, but I have to say that cockatiels and dog breeds were my special interests. My parents finally agreed to get me a dog for my 12th birthday. I wrote a letter to my my mom explaining the benefits of getting me my first dog and my persuasive letter was successful. I have experience in taking care of puppies, caring for dogs in a doggy daycare, boarding, and working in an animal hospital setting. I did everything from feedings, providing water, walking, and administering medications to mainly cats and dogs.

Sonia is fabulous! Kona is always so relaxed when we get home because she takes such good care of her. Also the house is always spotless! Thanks, Sonia!
This is our second time with Sonia and both times have been amazing. She is attentive, communicative, and loves on our boys so they don’t even notice we’re gone. Our home was neat and tidy upon arrival back home and I wouldn’t hesitate to ask her again to watch our pups!
