I grew up with dogs my whole life. For the past 3 years I’ve taken care of dogs for multiple families, stayed over to care for pets overnight, worked as a dog walker, and always love playing and meeting new pups. I have cared for multiple pets at once, am consistent with feeding and walking schedules, have cared for pets of all ages, and love to share updates and pictures of your pup.

I feel comfortable staying in clients home if needed, dropping in to walk or feed pets, and crating pets if needed. I’ve had repeat clientele for whom I’ve cared for free roam and crated pets, dogs with special care needs, stayed overnight both short and long term, and worked as a dog walker. My own dog is a small, 18 lbs, friendly dog who loves to meet new friends. I have experience with my own and other pets and thus have a good understanding of animal body language, building trust, and understand that a good pet sitter should get to know your pet on their own terms. I am also willing to do meet and greats to ensure both you and your pet are comfortable with the match.

Sonia has been our pet sitter for 6 years. She is the most loving, caring, responsible, trustworthy pet sitter we’ve ever had. Our pet Lola is very timid and anxious and also hard to walk at times but Sonia always knew just how to keep her calm and loved. She always sent us pictures and checked in with us to let us know how she was doing. She spoiled her with so much attention, lots of pets, and playtime. I would highly recommend her to anyone for the best care for your pet.
We have been lucky enough to have had Sonia live close by and got to know her and her lovely family. My dogs LOVE LOVE Sonia and miss her terribly bc she moved to Chicago! Boohoo for us😢 Seriously, Sonia always had me very relaxed when we traveled out of town and she’d stay at our home, care for our 2 dogs like they’re her own (car rides/ In and Out burger!) and also cared for my house so kindly and took care of all my plants. She also did daily dog walks for us when our work schedules got busy. She’s the sort of person you can pass your keys to your house over to her and be very much at ease. Sonia’s got it all under control! She’s a total animal lover💗

Schedule
I am a graduate student based in Lake Bluff who loves animals! I have a car and a lot of morning and evening flexibility with some mid-day flexibility as well to feed, walk, or check in on pets. I am also available for overnight stays to ensure your pet is cared for overnight. Because of my flexible schedule, I am available for last minute bookings to help care for your pet in any way needed. I can’t wait to meet new furry friends!
