I care for dogs full-time!
I've had my small breed dog for 9 years. She is the love and joy of my life! I would love the opportunity to care and pamper other dogs the same way I care for her. My neighborhood is ideal for taking walks, and my dog is extremely friendly with other dogs! My fiancé is my biggest cheerleader and immensely helpful with those early morning and late night potty breaks! He is my partner, and he loves dogs as much as I do. I also have a 17 year old and a 22 year old that love to play with and walk the dogs. Another fun fact: I am certified in dog emotion and cognition from Duke University.

Sonia was great! So flexible and kind. We got a ton of pictures. I felt totally comfortable leaving my dog there for the first time for a whole week. So happy to have someone I can trust!
Sonia was great. My dog seemed very happy on her daily walks and playing with the other pups there. Sonia sent pictures daily and always very responsive.

Schedule
I boarded and do daycare for dogs full time, so I am completely flexible to care for the needs of your pet. My routine revolves around the needs of your dog!

Safety, trust & environment
We will be primarily on the first floor of my home, where dogs can relax and play as they like. They are welcome to wander upstairs if they choose to though. We are perfectly comfortable with having pets on furniture and beds. Their safety and comfort is number one! Please bring their food, feeding times and amount, any medications they may take, with instructions on how to administer them. You may also want to bring their bed and favorite toys. Also, please bring their leash, as we will be outdoors frequently for potty breaks and walks.
Pets
A typical day
Walks in my safe and pet-friendly neighborhood at least twice a day, toys and games, treats and feeding times, and snuggles on the couch! If you'd like, please bring your pet’s favorite toys but know that I always have a stash on hand. I don't leave dogs that I am sitting home alone, aside from that rare errand or emergency. We have cameras throughout the house so we can monitor your dog at all times. We also play soothing nature sounds and calming music for your dog when it is nap and/or relaxation time. I take only small and medium-sized dogs, and I take only up to three dogs at a time, my dog being the fourth, so it is the perfect sized group for stress-free socializing.
