I am attentive, listen to specific requests and needs, give lots of attention and praises, and support your routines and behavioral plans. All dogs must be non-aggressive towards me 🙂 I am adept at handling aggressive behaviors towards other dogs or people in public….if that situation occurs, as long as they have basic leash training.

Must have basic leash manners (ie; obey “heel or with me, sit & stay” commands). I like specific written or typed instructions, particularly for feeding, walking (or only backyard and no walks), any meds or special services needed.
A typical day
Walking/hiking, dog park trips, as well as play dates. Playing ball, snuggling them, treat times, really anything that they are used to with you, and or your request.

I am a 47 year young woman. I was raised in Littleton/Morrison/Evergreen with over 100 animals on 5 acres, giving me the experience & knowledge of the responsibilities that come with pets. My mother was a professional vet tech/breeder & dog-groomer for many years in Lakewood, and I assisted in her shop from time to time. I am a 20 year self-employed entrepreneur in Lakewood (my profession being a licensed, insured CMT, so please allow me AT LEAST 2hrs to respond to any messages) 🙏. My reviews & profile on Rover, as well as the fact that massage clients will return to me years after turning and burning through other providers says everything you need to know if you’re interested in having me care for your house/pets. I love the opportunities for interaction with animals that comes with pet-sitting. I have experience with exotic animals such as rabbits, lizards, snakes, tortoises, chickens and other fowl, horses, etc. Being raised in the mountains, I know how to handle properties with bear and or mountain lion issues to keep your home and pets safe. I provide full home care, including plant watering, trash/recycling removal, sidewalk shoveling if needed during the winter months, I will leave your home exactly the same if not better than you left it.

The best!!! Couldn’t be happier about the care of my girl! Sondra has been walking her to get to know her for many weeks before our trip. As for our trip she was here a few minutes earlier than we needed which was fantastic! We got updates a couple times a day, photos, videos and clear communication about her own day and how long she was expecting to be away-which was never a long time. 100% recommend!!
Sondra is such an amazing sitter for our senior dog, Roxy. We’ve had Sondra stay with Roxy twice now and have been so happy with our experience. She takes special care of Roxy, who is mostly blind and requires daily injections. She keeps us informed daily and sends pictures. I highly recommend Sondra!!
Sondra continues to be such a wonderful and caring sitter for Mu! I know he is comfortable with her and well cared for because the transition is so smooth when I come back home, which is not always the case for Mu with everyone.
Sondra was, once again, so great with Mu! I especially appreciate the care she takes to ensure Mu’s walks are safe and comfortable for him while still getting good exercise and stimulation. I can tell Mu feels really comfortable with her based on the videos and his demeanor when I return home. We can’t wait to have her back!
