Availability
I do my best to keep my Rover calendar up to date for the upcoming two weeks so please feel to look there to see my availability! Generally, I am flexible during weekends that are marked available in my Rover calendar. On weekdays, I work a full time job in addition to providing pet sitting (which I love to do!) so will make sure I can accommodate your schedule and service needs before accepting a booking. I tend to most often available after 5pm on weekdays, but occasionally early mornings for drop ins and walks as well as lunchtime visits may work on a case by case basis depending on the date requested and your home location. House sitting can be provided before and after working hours on weekdays as well as more flexibly on available weekends. I will follow the instructions you provide me and provide detailed updates how the visit went in the "notes" section of the Rover cards, along with pet photos for you to enjoy. I will make sure all care instructions are followed precisely and give your pets plenty of attention during our time together!

Let me know if your pet has any special needs that require attention. I will fill out a google form for each new client to record any notes on needs or habits of your pet, as well as vet and emergency contact info. I’ll submit a copy of the form to you for approval before the first booking date so that we can make sure all records for your pet and care instructions are correct.
A typical day
I will provide care tailored to what you request and suggest for your pet(s), so fun activities for a stay will look like a typical playtime that you might spend with your pet. Generally, depending on what you and your pets are comfortable with, we will go outside (for dogs and puppies), and I will talk to them and give them lots of pets (if they are comfortable with pets, and in the spots they love). If there are toys or treats available, we will use those as well! I always talk to pets frequently and in a friendly tone to help them feel comfortable. I will make sure to engage your pet in the playtime activities your pets love most!

I’m a project manager in festival events and operations in my full time job so I am well practiced in sticking to details, timeliness, and delivering on a promise and I love using these skills to make our beloved pets and their owners happy! I have cared for cats & kittens, dogs & puppies of a variety of breeds, and goats. I grew up with a big dog breeds in my neighborhood and am comfortable with dogs of all sizes. My favorite breed of dog is the doberman, so if you have one of those I will be especially happy to take care of your baby! Info about Services Upon receiving a booking request, I will ask a few general question about your request, and follow up with a phone call or meet and greet to talk through details of the stay. I will take notes about your pet's needs, temperament, quirks, vet contact and more, and will submit my care notes to you following a meet and greet to ensure we have all the details correct. Feel free to be as detailed as you like! This way we can ensure the best care for your pet and will have a record of details needed for the stay. Vaccinations All pets must be fully up to date on rabies vaccines prior to securing a booking. Owner must show physical proof of vaccination by showing a rabies tag or recent paperwork from the vet. Always gives good care
Sommer took exceptional care of our boys while we were away, and we couldn’t be happier! It was obvious as soon as we got home that they had been well cared for and genuinely enjoyed their time with her. She also went above and beyond by checking our mail, taking care of the sprinkler, and looking after the house, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were gone. Everything was exactly as we left it, and we truly appreciated her reliability, communication, and attention to detail. We sincerely hope she’ll be available the next time we travel because we’d love to become regular clients. We highly recommend Sommer to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and dependable to look after their pets and home!
Sommer was amazing! She was extremely responsive and made sure our little bug was taken care of. Our dog is extremely active and she took to him like a champ! We can’t wait to have her sit for us again.
