My husband and I have been doing Rover for over three years now! We previously lived in NC. I’ve owned dogs/cats until old age and have been around animals my whole life. I have a 9 year old lab, and adopted a 8 year old pug through dog sitting on this app. And finally we joined the Frenchie gang as well. I love animals and would love to help with your needs. If you are in need of care and it says I am not available, just message me and I will see what I can do, my preferences on here I have set just to avoid driving certain distances (gas prices) but we could possibly work something out, don’t hesitate to reach out! Also, for safety purposes we do not take in intact males or in heat females because my boy Remi is also intact. We apologize for the inconvenience but safety for everyone comes first!

We love Somer!! They’re the BEST!!! We use them every single time and trust them like we would our friends from home. Our dogs are so happy with them.
I couldn’t have asked for a more responsible, kind, responsive, and thoughtful person to watch my fur baby. I was very nervous to leave her, but after meeting Sommer introducing her to my baby, I had no worries! She was so kind to communicate regularly throughout the boarding time with photos, updates, and videos! I can’t imagine leaving my dog with anyone else now! She’s the best :)
She was amazing!! She took such great care of our kitty and sent us lots of update pictures! I would 100% book with her again!!
This is my second time boarding with Somer and she is great! Always sending pictures and updates and I genuinely feel my pets are in good hands every time I leave them. Will definitely be rebooking! Highly recommend them.
Somer does a fantastic job every time with our boys. We missed the 4th birthday of one of them and Somer and her boyfriend threw a little party for them with doggy ice cream and hats and they even sang to them! It was seriously so sweet. I don’t think I could find another sitter as great as them!

Schedule
I do prefer pick ups/drop offs/meet and greets for my husband to be present for safety purposes, so if I ask if times can be modified I apologize, it’s to accommodate to when he will be home! Our pups occupy their end of the house, yours can occupy the rest! Safety comes first for me so let me know your preferences.

However you care for your pet in your home, if applicable I will do the same if needed. I understand dogs need routine to avoid stress. *PLEASE NOTE!!! If you have a male dog that is not neutered, he will be kept SEPARATE. In some cases or most cases we still possibly will decline the sit if it will be difficult to keep separate. I understand it is hard to find care because our male is also not neutered so I want to make it easier for people like us! So please understand that it is for both of the dog’s safety and peace.

I have a big fenced in backyard for your dog to run around in. Dogs are allowed all through the house and on the furniture. We love dog cuddles! Our dogs sleep in the bed with us, yours can too!
