My wife and I both telework full time from home, which means someone is almost always around, so we're able to consistently keep a close eye on your dog throughout the entire day without ever leaving them alone for long stretches.

Safety, trust & environment
In my home, pets have a comfortable, low-stress environment to settle into. I live in an end-unit townhouse with a private backyard, so they have a quiet, distraction-free space to lounge in the sun, sniff around, and relax. I love spending time with the pets in my care — whether that's joining them outside, playing, or a bit of gentle wrestling and roughhousing for the ones who enjoy it. I'm an active person, so daily exercise is never an issue. If your pet has a lot of energy to burn, I'm happy to take them on long walks or even a run to keep them happy and tired out. I'm also a big believer in routine. I like to keep my own day structured, which makes it easy for me to fold your pet's feeding, walk, potty, and rest schedule right into mine so they feel secure and their normal rhythm stays intact. Above all, I want every pet to feel safe, engaged, and at home while they're with me.

Before your pet arrives, it helps to know their feeding schedule, any allergies or medications, favorite toys or comfort items, and how they typically react to new people, other animals, and being left alone for short periods.
A typical day
A typical day starts with a relaxed morning walk to stretch their legs and sniff around the neighborhood. Afterward, we settle into a comfortable routine of playtime, cuddles, and rest, with regular potty breaks and fresh water always available throughout the day.

Pet care experience
I've loved dogs my whole life and grew up caring for our family dog for over 15 years, from playful puppy years through his senior days. I'm hands-on and energetic — happy to run, wrestle, and get down and dirty when a dog wants to play hard, but just as ready to offer calm cuddles and gentle care when that's what they need. Your dog will get attentive, affectionate attention and a sitter who genuinely treats them like family.
Reviews
When I had to travel back to Taiwan for two weeks, I left my dog in Solomon’s care, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience for her. My dog is a medium-sized girl with a lot of energy, and Solomon is the only one I know who can match her energy. He took her out for walks three to four times a day — exactly what she needs — and made a real effort to play with her and keep her engaged throughout the day. On weekends, he and his wife even took her on hikes and long walks, which was such a treat for my dog. What I appreciated most was the sense of balance Solomon provided for my dog. He was affectionate and gave her all the attention and pets she wanted whenever she needed them, but he was also insistent with house rules (like no sleeping on the sofa) that kept things structured. Despite having separation anxiety, she was clearly well adjusted and happy the whole time. I came home to a healthy, content dog, and I had complete peace of mind while I was away. I would absolutely trust him to look after her again.
