Professional and caring pet lover!
I have three years of professional animal care experience: at my local animal hospital, I worked as both a kennel technician and a groomer's assistant. So, I had to be responsible for the wellbeing of a dozen dogs at any given time and I am comfortable handling all kinds of pets, even when they are stressed. Additionally, I have been a trusted petsitter and dog walker in my neighborhood for the past 7 years. Lastly, I helped raise and train my family’s dog from puppyhood!

Safety, trust & environment
My top two priorities when petsitting your pets are their safety and happiness. To ensure their safety, I will make sure they only have access to areas they are allowed to be in, and I will maintain an environment without any objects or hazards that could be dangerous for them. Furthermore, I will follow their feeding, walking, and watering schedules carefully. To keep your pets happy, I will give them lots and lots of attention and love while I am with them, and make sure they are entertained while I am gone. Whatever your pet needs, whether it is a game of tug of war or just some cuddles, I am happy to provide!

Sofie was great! She stayed at our place and walked my dog Hazel on time and shared updates. The flat was clean; and Sofie herself is very punctual and pleasure to talk to!
Sofie stayed with my two dogs for three night. It was my first experience using Rover and my first time having anyone stay at our flat. I was super nervous because one of my dogs is dog reactive and a little tough to handle on walks. But Sofie had me feeling at ease almost immediately. She was great at communicating and is obviously a very intelligent and caring person. She followed all of our requests perfectly and we returned to a spotless home and happy dogs. I will definitely be enlisting Sofie's help in the future and would highly recommend her!

Sofie is so wonderful! She housesat for us and took great care of our pup (Pepper), fish, and plants for 10 days in April. She sent us updates and pictures regularly while we were out of town. Her communication was exellent the entire trip. I highly recommend her for housesitting!
Sofie was very communicative and that was very much appreciated since we have our three pups and we were out of the country. She sent pictures and responded very quickly. We will definitely book her again.

Currently, I am living in Madrid, Spain. Contact me based on your schedule needs and we will work something out. I am available most days, and am generally available for overnight stays in your home on all weekdays and weekend nights.
