I’m currently a part-time student, which means I have plenty of flexibility to dedicate to caring for your pets. I’m available for house sitting Wednesday through Sunday, and on most weekdays I only have classes from 10am–2pm, leaving mornings, afternoons, and evenings open for your pets. My weekends are generally open as well.

A typical day
As an active person, I’m always happy to keep up with high-energy pups. I love trying new sports and often go for runs around the Central District. At the same time, I also appreciate slowing down and taking in the neighborhood sights—most days I end with a relaxing walk, even when I’m not walking a dog. Volunteer Park and T.T. Minor Playground are a couple of my favorite spots for walks and people-watching.

I have been pet sitting and dog walking for family, friends, and people in my community for over five years. I first started walking dogs as a summer job when I was 15, and over the years it has grown into a genuine passion. I have cared for a wide variety of breeds and temperaments, including seniors who need a little extra patience and love. As the longtime owner of a chihuahua mix who recently passed after 17 wonderful years, I deeply understand the importance of quality time and special care during a dog’s golden years. Beyond dogs, I’ve also been trusted to look after cats and even exotic pets, building lasting relationships with pet parents in both Seattle and the San Francisco Bay Area.

Sol has watched our senior dog a handful of times. They are great at communicating and I can tell my dog is happy and has no stress when we are gone.
Sol was incredible with my two Klee Kais. They showed up as a true pup parent, not just a sitter, and it made all the difference. I came home to a spotless space (arguably even better than I left it), and two pups who were clearly well cared for and emotionally supported. My dogs have big feelings, and Sol really tuned into that by staying a little extra to make sure they were settled and even putting on their “cat TV” to keep them calm between their departure and my return. Great communicator, thoughtful in all the small details, and genuinely caring. I would absolutely recommend Sol to anyone looking for someone who will treat their pets like family.
