Can I pet that dog?
I grew up in a homestead full of animals - dogs, cats, birds, and reptiles. I now have my own rescue dog, Laika, for the last 5 years. I have experience working with reactive dogs since my own is. If you use positive reinforcement in your training - I have treats for your pet! Every pet is different and I look forward to hearing what makes them most at ease.

Sofia watched our Patty for a long weekend trip. This was the longest time both my partner and I spent away from him. Every day we received great pictures and little tidbits about their day together. Sofia left our house in perfect condition and was incredibly considerate. Patty will miss her, I am sure.
Sofia was great with my two pups Winnie and Rosie! Rosie had a pretty rough life before she wound up at the shelter, so she can be really distrustful and nervous around new people. Sofia did a great job working around Rosie's quirks, and kept both my girls happy with lots of fetch and attention. Also, loved all the photos! :)

Sophia was the absolute sweetest! You can definitely tell she’s an animal person, both of my dogs absolutely adored her. I’m a little strict when it comes to my dogs and their behavior as a previous dog trainer and also liked that she not only loved them but also was good at giving them boundaries for good behavior. Ashoka is 6-7 months old and she was the best at keeping her in her sights and keeping them entertained and happy (: loved all of the pictures I got while we were on our trip and will definitely be booking again!

I work remotely, which means I can watch over your pets during the day. Please reach out to me if you'd like weekday doggy daycare in your home! This is not a service that Rover lists but one that I would be happy to accommodate. I like to take breaks throughout the day which could be filled with potty breaks or playtime - perfect for dog with separation anxiety or puppies!

A typical day
I don't do dog parks or off-leash hikes for liability reasons but I know plenty of ways to tire out pups both physically and mentally. If you don't have a yard, I really like utilizing some the bigger fenced-in parks in Missoula if you live nearby them - like Playfair Park and the Fort. We can go for a car ride and play some ball!
