Hi! I’m Sofía, a caring and responsible pet sitter based in Zurich. I’ll be happy to care for your pet the same way I would want someone to care for my own. I have experience looking after dogs with different personalities, including playful, shy, senior, anxious, and high-energy dogs. I always take the time to understand each pet’s routine and individual needs so they can feel safe, relaxed, and loved while their owner is away. When caring for pets in their own home, I follow all instructions carefully, respect the space, and keep everything clean and tidy. I also provide regular updates so owners can have peace of mind and know their pets are doing well. For me, pet care is more than just a service—I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel happy, safe, and well cared for.

Sofía was great! She took such good care of Boston and was very attentive with the heat. We felt at ease with Boston in her care!
Sofía took great care of our dog while we were out of town :) She followed all care instructions and sent us lots of updates. It was very hot while she was watching him and she made sure he was very well cared for and stayed as cool as possible. Definitely recommend!

Sofia was great with Atlas who was very nervous and shy at the beginning. She was super patience and sweet with him and by the end of the weekend he was his usual happy and active dog :-)
We had a really good experience with Sofía. She took great care of our dog while we were away and sent us daily updates and photos, which we really appreciated. She took Olivia on nice, long walks, and when we got back, she was calm and happy. Sofía was also very reliable with giving her medication, as she was on treatment during those days. Overall, she was kind, precise, and easy to communicate with. We would definitely recommend her.

Schedule
Incorporating pet care into my routine is easy for me. I recently moved to Zurich with my husband for his job, and right now my schedule is very flexible since I’m in between jobs myself. That means I can dedicate as much time as needed to caring for your pets, whether it’s mornings, evenings, or weekends. I’m happy to adapt to what works best for you and your pet.

When caring for pets at the owner’s home, I make sure to follow their usual routines and create a comfortable, familiar environment. I always respect the owner’s home, ensuring everything is kept tidy and as they like it. And when we go out for walks, I keep their pet’s safety and local Zurich regulations in mind, giving them my full attention and making sure they have a fun and secure outing.
A typical day
The activities I do mainly depend on each pet. In general, I enjoy going for walks with them, spending time giving affection (I’m a very caring person), and playing together, like throwing a ball or other simple games they enjoy. That said, every pet is different, so I always adapt the activities to the pet’s personality, energy level, and routine, as well as the owner’s preferences. I truly respect each pet’s individuality and comfort.
